Terrible.

A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

The poll is broken. It's missing the "he's an evil little troll who is arguably the worst thing to happen to western civilization since AIDS" option.

Bad on fiscal policy (except the tax cuts), horrible on social policy, good ideas of foreign policy, awful execution. I say poor.

poorly isn't really strong enough an adjective to describe his performance, but it'll do. *click*

Agreed, except for the tax cuts part. Good idea, but too biased towards the rich.

In any case, terrible.

Don't shy away from the UK's responsibility here; Tony Blair is perfectly capable of making his own decisions, and I doubt that he supported the US simply because we are more powerful. If he did, then you elected a moron for a prime minister, just as we elected an idiot for a president.

He took virtual worldwide sympathy and solidarity for the US and turned it into open hostiliy and contempt.

He took abject hatred of the US in the Arab world and lit a fire beneath it.

His lies have cost the lives of hundreds of US service personell in Iraq.

He has removed the focus from Afghanistan and Pakistan and placed it in Iraq, and created a Islamofascist playground which did not exist before his ham-fisted bumbling.

His pathetic ideas about military action being effective in confrontation with fanatic thought only creates more fanatics.

He's doing a terrible job, and we're prabably going to be paying for his destructive antics for decades to come.

There's no adjective strong enough to describe my contempt for him. I'll vote "terrible" because it's the strongest negative option. That said, he's doing an excellent job completing his goals; namely bringing about a Christian theocracy and setting civilization back by a century or so. Glory!

Terrible due to asinine fiscal policy, poor execution of social policy, and truly frightening civil rights abuses.

Poor execution of both social and military policies.

Screwed up our world image in many ways.

Disgusting use of power in destroying civil liberties.

Terrible is all this poll allows me to push forward.

Seriously, people voting positively for Bush should have the balls to come out and say why. Everyone here has reasons why he is the antichrist of presidents so why are the fans of this fucker not willing to step up to the plate? Or are they simply taking a page out of Bush's book and avoiding the question?

Didn't think there was a need for anything additional, but that record alone should be enough to ensure his being run out of office.

That Onion article was pretty funny (the right-wing counterpoint was hilarious), but let's face it: there were a LOT of people saying that in the days leading up to the war, and the people on the right were proven completely wrong about virtually everything. They just don't have the balls to admit it; many of the same people making bullshit pie-in-the-sky fantasy claims about Iraq paying for its own reconstruction and serving as a springboard for peaceful, happy Americanization of the entire Middle East are now pretending that they never said any such thing. In that respect, Bush and his followers are very much alike.

To be technical, we didn't elect Bush

Anyway...
He's been terrible, terrible, terrible. The only thing I can say that was good about the Bush administration is to echo Clarke and say his speech after September 11 was pretty good.

Other than that... his administration has been a failure in foreign policy, fiscal policy, environmental policy, economic policy, and just about everything except for working the machinery of dishonest and dirty politics.

I can't think of anyone who's actually come out and said "Bush did a good job on so-and-so." All I've seen has been buck-passing ("Clinton was just as bad!" or "it's the SPEND-ocrats fault!") or apologetics ("Fastfood is a manufactured good.")
