Ianna rose from the ground and gently patted the singed fur, looking up at Jade with a calculated glare. She made no other movement other than to adjust her slightly burnt leather jerkin slightly. She snarled low in her through as a side effect of speaking, Sibbecai long had spoke with a slight growl. A side effect of their beastial nature.

"Oops? Watch where you throw those or you'll find out what eating them is like."

She seemed to settle a bit and responded at last

"I hunger"

The 2 guard's jaws literally drop when they see you. "What the fuck is that thing?" says one. The other seems to be trying to decide whether to attack or flee. "It's a d-demon..RUN!" They both take off like frightened pups, yelling incoherently.

Ianna tilted her head to watch after the fleeing guards predatorily as if sizing up a possible meal and working out the exact effort and strides required to charge after and devour their sorry carcases. She snorted in derision.

"Meatless."

Jade turns around and looks at the fleeing guards.
"grrrr....ICE"
The ground under the guards feet turns Ice cold, they slip and fall to the ground.
"This is not a demon, and you will not treat her as such. This is a Sibeccai, an intellegent race. I would think the armor and weapons would have given that away. Clear?"

Jade turns away without waiting for an answer.
"You hunger? There's food inside, or drow if you want somthing freshly killed. But stay away from the human bodies."

The guards roll around on the ice, trying to get up, when one of them stops. "H-hey..the..witch is right..that's a sibbecai. My son's seen one before..m-my apologies..."

She narrowed her eyes around the village and drew back to draw in a deep breath to take in the aroma of death. It was almost overpowering, she could barely keep her senses above going into a frenzy and hunting everything in her path. She preferred live prey....she always had.

The humans, were beneith contempt, they were pathetic and above all - They lacked meat! How could they be considered prey without. She growled in frustration and turned back to Jade

"Drow will do for now."

Jade reached into her bag, pulls out grenades, and starts handing them to the town guards.

"Guards, come with me, all you need to do is throw them."

To Ianna: "Can you track their leader my scent? Or do we need to just kill every drow until we get the right one?"

One of the guards interject. "We've killed off most of the drow skulking here, we think. If there were any sizable portion still here they would most likely be causing some trouble, and we havent had any for about an hour.

Ianna ignored the question as if it was an insult to even draw her abilities into question. Carefully she lowered her snout slightly and drew in the air along the ground to try and search out her prey. The hunt had begun

She shakes it off, and follows after the half-wolf.

Ianna just plain blocked out everyone else. Her primary concern was her rising hunger. She lowered herself deftly to the ground some 20 metres to where she had first started and began to try and determine a trail. It was difficult...so much succulant meat surrounding her and she had to hunt down one specific. She pressed on all the same

As Ianna sniffs the ground, she detects a tantalizing mix of blood, flash-powder from Jade's grenades, and the occasional trace of dung. However, even if there were drow scents still here, they are most likely washed away by blood. Ianna can smell nothing that is verifiably a drow.

The store has been busy this week, and the days I was off, Tycho wasnt online.

Between school and work, 16 hour work days on monday and Wed. 6 hour days last saturday and sunday... I have today off though, and will be here mid-afternoon.

She snarled and drew back up to her form, stomping a foot in frustration. tracking had failed for the sheer fact that there was too many bodies and too much meat and she was hungry. She turned to Jade

"There is too much meat. I cannot find them."

Jade motions for Lance to follow and marches back inside, once inside, she asks one of the gaurds for a map of the town.

Slowly, the sun crests over the mountain peaks in the east, flooding the white landscape with blood-red light. Slowly, people come out of their ruined homes, picking up and fixing what they can, and simply kicking the drow and human bodies of their way.

Ianna crouched and lifted a hand to shield her eyes from the dawn, pondering to herself. She looked over and eyed the bodies next to the guards predatorially. Nay. She lived for live food and the hunt. she growled low and drew herself up to head to the guard palisade to either find the guard captain and find out what he knows, or just eat him...either or

"Um, of course." he says as his eyes glaze over. He grabs a piece of charcoal and crudely sketches a map of the village onto a spare bit of parchment, then hands it to you. "Em, take care now, I have to go."
