Just worried about our two resident combat engineers who are out in Iraq right now, haven't seen any posts from Lillith in a long while, and I am worried. Is there anyway we could get info/communications with them?

Rob Wilson might have mailing addresses you can write them at, but he's been very busy himself lately.
By the pricking of my thumb,
Something wicked this way comes.
Open, locks,

I say that we send them a letter or something from the populace at SDnet, I'd think that'd be a good morale booster with them knowing how many people are thinking ofthem

That's what I was thinking especially after the Marine attack thread.

Not that I know them but I would prefer if they spent their energy on survival rather than worrying if people on SD.Net wonder about their health.I'd rather say "glad you made it" rhater than "whats happening to you now"

They are thousands of miles away from home in a foreign land with little to do but maintain the status quo and pray not to get caught up in a major conflict. In such a situation I would certainly feel better knowing the people back home are pulling for me.

*sad colin mode*

Saw several blue stars in shop windows when I went into H&R Block today....

Thankfully none of the mom & pop stores had any gold stars in their windows yet.

Oh, and for a small conservative town, with lots of small family businesses, a suprising percentage of the adult population is deployed right now. (for a town of less then 2000, to have nearly 100 people overseas in the military, is scary...)

I would hope that it gives him energy to know that so many people care about him, rather than sapping his energy.

You're missing the whole point of "showing support" thing. We don't want to interrogate him; we want him to know that he's in our thoughts back home, and that when he does get back, it'll be like he never left.

Also, we should probably send him some porn. :)

Not very well explained on my part, my gist was
stay safe and know people care. but don't get into trouble because you don't want us to worry.
That make more sense?
