There seem to be many good hiding spots, there's a row of abandoned buildings on the edge of the lake that looks to be a small wharf.

I ask around, and try to get as many guards to come with me as I can.

Then them, me, and lance head to the warf.

The towns guards that are left simply refuse you, saying that they must stay in Keck and defend it from further attacks. No matter how much you try to convince them otherwise, they stand firm.

Ianna dropped down from the battlement of the wooden wall surrounding Keck and slipped over to follow Jade and Lance, she wiped the drops of blood still staining her mouth away and finished with licking her lips. She was less hungry...but pangs still followed her

They're not gonna draw together in one big clump. They're still hunting down the drow in the *rest* of the town.

As both of you approach the abadoned wharf, all is calm and silent. You see no one in hiding, just a few stray animals. Most of the wharf's buildings have collapsed or have been taken apart by the villagers for use as firewood, but 2 of them look fully intact. A chill breeze blows across the lake, kicking up snow.

It is very dark inside, but from what light leaks through you can asertain that the building is devoid of any furnishings. The villagers probably took what was of value in this building long ago.

Ianna had trailed Jade and Lance ever since they had left town, staying just below the snowstorm. The cold meant little to her with her fur although it did little for her weapons, She snorted in thought and trailed ahead, she couldn't be bothered waiting for the two any longer and in truth, to spend any longer near them was to turn and devour them both in a hunger- driven frenzy. The body of the guard she had torn apart in the privacy of the shadow had done little in the way to stem her hunger

An hour's trot had seen more snow fall and the silouette of a keep in the horizon. she stalked along the ground, keeping low as she approached curiously. drawing in the air to try and determine scents for the surrounding area.

Lance and Laz: After 2 days of tiring travel, you can finally see the massive stone spire of the Frozen Hand keep in the distance, dug into the side of a rocky cliff. A wide cobblestone road begins just ahead of you, leading all the way to the keep.
