People should keep in mind this isn't the first time US troops have fired on a Mosque, during the battle for Baghdad for example one rather large (the name will no doubt come to me in five minutes) Mosque was heavily damaged by US tanks and IFV's shooting RPG and machine gun crews out of its upper levels.
"This cult of special forces is as sensible as to form a Royal Corps of Tree Climbers and say that no soldier who does not wear its green hat with a bunch of oak leaves stuck in it should be expected to climb a tree"

Jokes about WTC? Meh I might chuckle along with. Jokes about civilian contractors in Iraq? No, don't think so seeing as my FATHER is one of those over there.Darth Wong wrote:I suppose you would be the first person to get offended if I start making crass remarks about the World Trade Centre or civilian contractors in Iraq being strung up, but jokes about genocide are OK, right?KrauserKrauser wrote:Too late to turn the place into a molten glass parking lot?

At this rate we may as well just bomb everyone (including us) into the stone age. Who knows, maybe it'll improve the average level of common sense.

And sadly those that would remain would not improve...either way the Iraq conflict/war/FUBNARed mess has become into one fuck up after another since the main conflict ended, wherein Bush and Co keep saying we're doing good, and good men are still dying for no good reason.
