A few people moved about the village, one looking over and noticing the members of SG-4 a panic sweeping through the village, one old man coming out leaning on a staff, a chain around his neck and tucked into his robe, he walks slowly limping over to you and the boy that guided you here runs over and talks to him excitedly though none of you can make out what is said....after a few moments of this the old man looks at each of you in turn and limps closer.

Connar jerked his head slightly towards Allen and he stepped forward a bit, speaking in Hebrew. Connar contented himself with looking around the village with his eyes, keeping an eye out

Shalom....we mean you know harm...we are travellers from far far away..

As he spoke the people in the village beyond seemed to become more settled, the young boy going about explaining to them.

The old man limps leaning on his staff to the largest of the huts. You follow and he takes a seat and tells you of the origins of his people.

"We are the descendants of the people of Enoch, our ancestor was Cain he was marked by God for some past sin. Many of the tales have been lost. The servants of God came recently looking for something in the ruins of the city...the legacy of cain they called it....I know not what it is...though I fear they may return again..."

He smiled coyly and secured the mp5 over his shoulder carefully, switching it into safety mode. He leaned back against a makeshift wall as Allen wandered in to talk with the head of the village.

"Patience...I'm sure we'll be knee deep in Jaffa soon enough."

Connar glanced up and rested a hand on the side of his firearm as the boy came running back into the village. He frowned slightly as he yelled in the strange language and glanced to Leah and Vasquez

"Either of you catch that?"
