The first raiding group made the jump to hyperspace before the Krytosians arrived. Fleet Captain Duramente leaned back in his command chair on the cruiser Churchill and awaited arrival at his target, alternately looking at the purplish blue swirl of hyperspace and at the tactical display, which showed the most current intel on his target's defenses and position.

Any Covenant star systems that you can succesfully take and hold from the Covenant would be yours to keep just as any star systems taken by the other allies will be theirs to keep, and systems taken through allied efforts will be negotiated. If you are unable to capture three systems, we will be willing to cede one or two to you, would that be acceptable
"Acceptable indeed.

The matter will be turned over to the masters of the Third War Cluster. We will furnish you with their communications codes and Freecaster bands. I should warn you, few of our vessels have conventional hypercomms, and I doubt the Coalition vessels have any Freecasters. We'll send a half dozen back with your vessel, on the grounds that you allow us to also send one observer/liasion officer with each one, and return them when the action is over.

We shall communicate the orders to the Third War Cluster immediatly, and they will contact the Coalition leaders for target information."
"Agreed. As of this moment, the coalition consists of the Arcane Empire, The Republic Of Nashtar, and the Krytos Star Empire. KSN ships are equipped with relativly outdated freecaster technology, but they should be able to relay your messages to the other nation's fleets."

High Priest Jenurax read his spy reports with a smile. He had succesfully stirred up a hornet's nest. When his acolytes asked why he was provoking other nations, Jenurax had simply smiled and said "Why attack them on their ground? Let the heathens come to us. As we slaughter them, their citizens will turn to support, and there shall be...us, acting as missionary's, to soothe their pain."

The KSN third fleet emerged from hyperspace

"This Is admiral Connor of the KSN third fleet, whose in charge around here?"

(OOC: Tycho, ARE YOU NUTS? You have the fleets of four different nations coming to rip you to shreds. Were you planning on lasting long in this game?)

Nashtar System, Outer Reaches

The vessel killed it's Kincaid drives, decellerating instantly to .4 c as the Kincaid effect ceased manipulating local spacetime. The nimble little craft had threaded it's way to the home system, accomplishing what large fleets or ungainly dreadnoughts could not.

It was a frigate, a mere couple of hundred meters long. It was coloured an oily black, and studded with jagged weapons emplacements. A message reverberated through the system on conventional radio bands.

<< Warship Successful Hunter of the Third War Cluster of the Hajr calling Nashtar Republic. We bring tidings of Hajr support to your war against the Covenant, as well as equipment for communicating with the Hajr and a liasion officer. We request permission to dock, and information of where and when the Coaltion will require Hajr forces to strike. >>

The flight (3 cruisers and 10 destroyers just to remind y'all) interphased and made for the system.

[Not all the stations, and not all in one piece. Modular parts, some of what the factories have ready. I can spare some destroyers to take them home; the admiral of the Sixth (whose name I think I've established but forget, I'll have to go back and look) understands that your people were attacked and want to lash out at something, even if the Covenant didn't do it. Go ahead and join the raids.]

Six frigates, three light carriers, and two destroyers with what look like minelaying devices on their sterns form up at the edge of the planetary gravity well. "Hailing Admiral Connor, this is Captain Horton of the NRS Swiftsure. We're heading out now, decided to take a smaller force since you're accompanying us. Here are the exact coordinates." The coordinates for the exact point of entry for the attack were transmitted to all Krytosian ships. "Ready to head out when you are."

One Merovingian carrier, two Sun Striker carriers, and ten Dawn Raider frigates emerged from hyperspace over the small colony of Tenloss III. The carriers wasted no time, issuing fighters forth as the frigates surged ahead towards their targer; the ships in orbit. They launched torpedoes as they came at anything not friendly in their path as the fighters and attack craft came up and around their formation, missiles and rockets leaping off the hardpoints at any military ships in sight.

[If for some reason there are no military ships here, then they'll just be very confused and jump to the next target.]

Captain Horton laughed. "Not with you packing all the heavy hitters, sir. We jump in ten seconds." Ten seconds later, the Republic ships surged forward and winked into hyperspace.
