Job Interview: Which knot to tie a tie?
I've got a Job interview tommorrow. IT work at a private university. Every time I go into one of these things I have to remember how to retie my tie (odd because I'm pretty good at it) so I go to a website and brush up on it. It seems that there are three basic knots: the full windsor, the half windsor, and the four in hand. Which knot do you prefer for which situations?
I'm planning on using a four-in-hand. Easy and neat, about the level of causualness I'd expect from the position.

Re: ties
I use a half-windsor myself, but that's just because that's how my Dad taught me how to do it. Easy to remember, over under over up through.
Clever and witty signature to be inserted here, just as soon as I think of one.

i usually never bother with ties. too annoying to put on. as it is i still don't know how to make a proper knot to wear them anyways. i can count all the times i've actually worn a tie on my hands.

Just attach it directly to your chest with roofing staples.
