I don't see the memo she wrote as a problem. After all, John Ashcroft reaffirmed the guidelines after he assumed office.
Her real conflict of interest is that the law firm in which she is a partner is apparently representing a Saudi prince in a suit brought by the 9/11 survivors.
I say 'apparently' because the last article I saw was about a year old and they may dropped the Prince as a client.
I *hope* they have dropped him, as Gorelick is still listed on their website as a partner in the firm.
If not, she needs to be removed immediately for an obvious conflict of interest.
