Slippery slope fallacy. But, they'd be entitled to do it, as I'm sure they're as emotional about cows as I am about dogs and cats.

I'd still be against unnecessary cruelty to cows though, like keeping them in cramped conditions or boiling them alive.

In case you haven't read the OPs links carefully enough or didn't bother to check before spewing profanities, Dog/Cat consumption is banned and the majority of the population doesn't like consumption either.

I wouldn't be surprised if one of the mystery meats I've eaten on my travels turns out to be dog or hamster or something...and that is not a fun thing to think about.

As a dog owner I wouldn't eat dog unless it was a survival situation of some sort.

this is one of the reasons i make it a point never to eat anything i can't identify.
