::::: KSN third fleet Edean system:::::
The third fleet emerged from hyperspace at the edge of the system.
"Beging moving twards the Arcane Empire's vessels and take up support positions, and open a channel."
"Channel open, sir"
"Attention vessels of the Arcane Empire, we have been dispatched to assist you. Tell us what you require"

Edean System
Former Covenant Territory
As the Jardanian warships began jumping out of the system, the squadron of Ouster cruisers running silent along the system's edge activated their reactors and began a slow acceleration towards the Edean ringworld. The quintet of vessels were all of the heavily armed Brief Life Burns Brightly class. They settled over the Edean ringworld- it was heavily populated, full of religious fanatics riled into raging chaos by the Jardanian's horrific "Pacifications."
It was too much trouble to occupy.
EMP rounds began falling, detonating across the structure. The lights of cities, now tinged red with fires started by the rampaging mobs, went black. Starships in their mooring bays became massive hunks of unusable metal. Power plants died, their systems failing spectacularly as their complex electronics became blocks of cooling metal.
Within three hours, the construct was literally back in the stone age.
Precision strikes lashed out at the Covenant shipyard facilities- they were already heavily damaged, and were of little use. The facilities, once the pride and joy of the Covenant, became clouds of twisted metal.
At the same time, the rest of the 3rd War Cluster withdrew from Jardanian space. Their mission was complete.

The ambassador maintained a poker faced look. He was too experienced to give much away.Straha wrote:Thee hours, a lunch, and three promises to be "out as soon as possible" later the Political Prince, the Military Prince, and a tall alien wearing a black uniform with a large orange starburst on his uniform's breast left the small attached room to the far side of the door and sat down. The tall alien seemed quite interested in a few of the papers making little barely audible oohs and ahhs at times. The political prince, after giving a sideways glare to the alien turned to the ambassadors.
"We of Monacora are very intrigued by your offer, but that being said we are not mercenaries. However, we would be most willing to assist you..."
The prince seemed to mull over his words now.
"...for an additional price. Along with the already offered services our nations would also agree to a political and military alliance, which Parliament would agree too. In return for this our Army is willing to train your ground forces, and provide better equipment. That is our counter-offer, we will understand if you need time to consider this, and your former embassy here in Andorra is available to you if you would like to use it."
"We understand that Monarocan military are not mercenaries. It was not our intention to slur your honor by implying that."
He paused.
"However, just training our forces is, unfortunately, simply not enough. To put it simply we wish to have your troops on the ground with us in this. Your nation has a justified reputation for the best ground troops in known space and we need that expertise and skill now. We're facing massive ground operations and wish your... direct aid. I'm afraid anything less is not enough."
"I think you mis-interpreted us. Along with the training, and our operations on your behalf now, we will enter a mutual defence pact, and our navy would be built up by you. I think it is a more then equitable agreement, and sets us both up for better standing in the future."Stormbringer wrote:The ambassador maintained a poker faced look. Catalonia System
Tetiary Colony World, Minmatar Freehold
The vessel was fairly unimpressive in size- at a mere 400 meters in length, she was rated a frigate. Her sleek, black form darted in-system on the plume of subspace kinetic energy that characterized the Kincaid drive. A vessel of the "Knife" class, she was an Ouster escort of very conventional design. Her gun-ports were closed, and she had been outfitted with a Known Space hypercom.
She settled in to the orbiting trade-station that characterized the world as a member of the Minmatar trade alliance.
A trio of Ousters stepped out of the vessel, adjusting themselves expertly to the 1-g environment. They were lead by an excited Minmater station-master to an opulent conference room, where they would await the Asgard representatives.

“There is no need to be so regimented, my good captain, return at your convenience; I will send your ship a message shortly before the meeting begins, of course. I would propose keeping your ship in a comfortable parking orbit until we reconvene tomorrow.” Drealaan turned to the Arcanian representative, “I trust you have no objections? I am dreadfully sorry about your ill-treatment earlier, Mr. Koranga will be tried at the highest court on the Homeworld, if you desire it, I can arrange for you to testify against Mr. Koranga in court, which will be held in about six months time.”
While they had been talking, a swarm of combat shuttles had docked with the Megaron Destroyer, the crew surrendered immediately and a group of Order Police assumed control of the ship. At this point the docked shuttles disembarked from the destroyer and returned to the Infallible.
The hologram projector in the center of the conference room came to life, the bust of an Order Police Officer appeared, “The traitors have been stowed and we are in possession of their ship.” the voice was raspy, cold, but unquestionably female.
“Thank you, Officer, please have it brought to Commonwealth Shipyards, it is being commandeered by the Homeworld Senate.” Drealaan replied. The Officer nodded and the hologram projector turned off.
The Infallible released its tractor beam, the faint blue aura quickly faded. The destroyer powered up its engines and slowly left orbit before engaging its Casimir Drive and returning to Baeloaren space.

[Catalonia System, Minmatar Freehold]
AINS Vagabond, one of the Hound class of light cruisers, dropped by into n-space at the edge of the system with the rest of DesDiv 5 following. Minmatar space was quite aways from Asgard space and th Admiralty was taking no chances.
"Catalonia control, this is DesDiv5. Hail and greetings. We wish to procede in-system control."
"Permission granted. Please keep clear of the Ouster vessel Dagger. She's holding postition about a 120 klicks at bearing five oh declination three oh."
"Roger that, we'll keep to the other side control. Vagabond out."
* * *
The five ship formation made it's way slowly to the station. They were on standby at the present with a tight sensor watch. Once the reached their parking orbit the light cruiser disgorged a fast pinnance that quickly scooted into the gaping maw of the station's docking bay.
* * *
The delegation made it's way through the station flanked by a Marine Honor Guard. They were a long known qualitiy to the Minmatar and so the half dozen armed trooper were tolerated. As they reached the conference chamber the Marines took up guard positions as the diplomats went in.
"Greeting. I'm special Ambassdor Michaels" the man was tall and unusually slender having grown up in the lighter gravity of the Asahiem system.
"The Emperor has authorized me to begin talks aimed at the exploration of a possible solution to the situation. I trust you're here for the same reasons?"

The shuttle rose back into orbit carrying the Ambassador and his staff. As soon as they got back the ansible warmed up and messages began heading back and forth. It seemed the Emperor was pleased indeed.

Manasan Space
Manasa IV
The “angel” class shuttles were marvels of engineering, capable of carrying a single agent quickly and safely into the stars. The shuttles incorporated a superlative array of stealth features, enough so that anything less advanced than a major power had almost zero chance of detecting them. These shuttles existed to move Veithan agents to their destinations invisibly, and they had served the Empire well. At the moment, shuttle 0097 was on approach to Manasa IV. Once there, its passenger would make contact with members of the current administration.
Inside the shuttle Avery Cook sat quietly, utilizing his neural implants to mentally go over his objectives. He was to act as the primary bodyguard to the Manasan ruler for an undisclosed period of time. It was believed that once the Manasan government agreed to the terms of the Empire, elements of the military would protest and possibly start a coup. His job was to stop that from happening and work in conjunction with the existing Veithan elements within Manasa IV. He had no doubts that he would fulfill his duty, his eyes closing as he tapped into the sensors of the shuttle. The shuttle was equipped with a displacement drive, allowing the vessel to travel vast distances without the need to transverse the space between points.
Once his vessel had reached the target point, it would activate its displacement drive and carry him to Manasa IV, of course there was an eccentricity of the system. A displacement drive felt instantaneous to the crew, but in truth time in real space continued as normal. As such, the system possessed advantages and disadvantages. Its primary advantage was that there would be no warning of his arrival. The disadvantage, was that once activated he was committed and out of communication contact. There was a reason why Hyperspace Submersion engines were the primary method of Veithan ships to move about. Nonetheless, for his mission nothing was more suitable than a displacement drive. Navigation data was fed directly to his implants and projected to his retina as the shuttle accelerated towards its jump spot, and once it reached it simply seized to be.
The shuttle arrived in low orbit over Manasa IV quietly, the planet’s sensor grid incapable of discerning the shuttle’s existence. The shuttle slid gracefully down towards the planetary surface, passive sensors guiding its flight path the entire way. Once he was in the ground, he would be able to fulfill his function. All that was left was to wait…

Catalonia System
Tetiary Colony World, Minmatar Freehold
The Ouster representative was unusually tall and lithe, standing over six feet tall. Her shoulders were broad for a woman, and her skin was inhumanly pale. A short mane of downy red hair sprung from her skull, terminating in a slim but intricate braid. Beside her were two more Ousters, of similar build and coloration. Both wore tight black skinsuits, strategically padded, and carried gropeners and fletch-pistols on their utility belt. The woman's skinsuit was decorated with ornate slashes of color.
All of them moved with unnatural speed and agility.
"I am Boundwoman Aleksandra su Jhalar, Voice of the Hajr. I speak for the Hajr, which in turn speaks for the entirety of the Unbound. I herald the Diaspora. As you say, I come seeking a solution to our... situation."
"My people have claimed the Jormungandr sphere as our own. We claim right of conquest. We ask for no territory beyond the sphere. See- the agreement made, proposed, at the great Talk-meet a standardmonth past."
At this, she raised a small device, which projected an image of the region into the air.
"These worlds, including Jormungandr and her two sister-colonies, we claimed, and were not contested in our claim besides by the Jormungandr Navy- which we bested."

"As you wish Commondore." Capt Proudmoore said with a nod. He then turned to his bridge crew.
"You heard the man, lets make it happen."
Half an hour later notification was given and the shuttle was lauched. It headed straight for the spaceport with Capt Proudmoore, his 3rd in command Lt. Commander Lane and Major Gillis and Lt. Malcom of the Protectors Marine corp. Both Marines were unsuited, but carried strandard issue sidearms. His Exec was not happy to be left behind but regulations were regulations.
The U.P shuttle set down at it's designated landing point and Capt. Proudmoore twitched his formal tunic straight.
"Right, now best behavior everyone." He said before stepping out.

The local State Department attache came out to the landing pad, flanked by four Republican Marines. "Welcome to Joyous Gard, Captain Proudmoore! We have much to discuss. Please come with me." After shaking the captain's hand, he turned and walked back towards the base command post, motioning for the visiting party to follow.

The official talked as he walked along. "We've sent for an ambassador from Nashtar to meet with you. Its not often that a previously unknown nation shows up at our doorstep." The group arrived at what appeared to be an administrative area inside the CP and stopped outside one of the doors. Two Marines stood guard outside. One of them opened the door and let the group walk in. A middle aged man in a highly decorated uniform stood up from his desk as they entered. "Captain Proudmoore, this is Admiral Jeremy Ossilege, Commander of Sixth Fleet. Admiral, this is Captain Proudmoore of the visiting destroyer."

Admiral Ossilege chuckled. "At ease, Captain. I'm not your commanding officer, and we're not here for military purposes today. Although perhaps we can use this opportunity to get some business done in straight talk before the diplomats get here and start in on the flowery language." He smiled and chuckled again, as the thus far nameless State official did his best to look bland and unoffended. Admiral Ossilege motioned to chairs in front of his desk. "Please, sit. We're just wrapping up successful combat operations against another nation that dared to attack one of our core worlds. I apologize in advance if any urgent reports come in. So, its your mission. What do you wish to discuss?"

Where do I start.
Captain Proudmoore sat down, as did the Lt. Commander, the marines however remained standing slipping into a parade rest, their eyes roving.
"Well Sir, when I left the experts were giving 100 to 1 odds that we contact any intelligent life, nevermind humans. So I must admit this is a shock. However if it's possible I would like to take home historical and cultural data. On the Republic and any other powers that you have data on. Astrographic maps, any non-classified you have of course would be welcome. In return I can offer the Outrider's own library data and non-classified astrograph maps." The Captain said.
