It is a bad sign when a single event in the country will tie together pretty much every possible viewpoint in opposition to it. I mean, how fucking stupid does our president have to be to make a decision that unites pretty much every political viewpoint on this board against him? Normally you'll get a wide array of views on a given topic, but this time, well, take a look at it:

Prez: I want to renew the Patriot Act.

Far Right: Get the fuck out of our country you fascist asshole.
Right: Ditto
Moderates: Ditto
Left: Ditto
Far Left: Ditto
Independents: Ditto.

thats because Kerry is a no balls waffler and is now backing away from his rehtoric from the primaries. He now opposes removing troops from Iraq. He opposes gay marriage. he is advocating corporate assistance to prevent outsourcing. etc..... All of this and the Kerrys refuse to turn over their income tax information and Kerry now refuses to release his military records after he demanded Bush do the same.

What is he thinking?! He is refusing to turn over his military records when he demanded his opponent do so, especially since Bush actually complied with that demand :wtf:. Kerry is shooting himself in the foot, and now he is probably going to lose (unless Team Bush has a fuckup so stupendous, that all their previous bungling would absolutely pale in comparison). If Kerry loses this election, it's his own fault :banghead:.

Thankfully, there is the 2-term limit (Bush could still do alot of damage in the next 4 years, however). How I wished there was such a thing in Canada after Mssr. Cretin was elected to a third term...

I don't know about the others, but this is understandable. While a year ago I may have said that I wanted our boys out of there as soon as possible, now that's simply not feasible. There is too much violence, and we've already made our bed there. We'd better sleep in it.

The Boston Globeis reporting that Kerry refuses to release all of his military records. The same thing he demand of Bush. To which Bush did comply.

Newsmaxis reporting that the Kerrys are refusing to disclose all of their income and tax info to the public.

The Miami Heraldreports that he against gay marriage, and supports the half assed civil unions comromise.
The Miami Herald wrote:Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry says he believes people are born gay but are not guaranteed the right to marry within their own gender.
USA Today reports that Kerry actualy favors increasing the troop deployments in Iraq.
John Kerry wrote:"if it requires more troops in order to create the stability that eliminates the chaos...that's what we have to do."
that good enough BS?

Except that I tend not to believe stuff I read on Newsmax unless I see the same story in other sources...

Great, so we're going to be stuck under Herr Bush for four more years because we didn't want a President who raised their voice.
On the plus side, I'll be getting a decent paycheck helping to crush terrorists under the iron heel of democracy(Post edited by the Patriot Commision)

what about the tax issue? he can effectively make millions of dollars and hide it in her name, because she says she's entitled to privacy. Well i've got news for her, if she want to be first lady, privacy is not an option. The American public is entitled to know where the first family gets their money.

Crackpot, I think the real reason you're not voting for Kerry is because he's a Democrat. :P

Really though, I think it's kinda obvious that in such a polarized sitution as we find ourselves in today, any vote not for Kerry is a vote for Bush. Kerry is the lesser of two evils; another four years of Bush and the country will be ruined.

I would rather be taxed a little more by a democrat and be able to complain about it, than be arrested for sedition for complaining about the fiscal policy of a republican.

Forgot who said it but it was during the Rice interview that a democrat tried to stop the crowd from cheering and mentioned that leads to civil war.
Can you find out who it was and when it happened? That's extremely interesting...
