He did manage to come back somehow in Godzilla vs. Gigan.Kuja wrote:Eh. There are times when I block DAM from memory. And I refuse to accept Ghidorh being dead. He was unconsious, that's all.

That works if you take the movies in the order they were released but DAM supposedly takes place in 1999 which is a little after the mid 70's.Andrew J. wrote: He did manage to come back somehow in Godzilla vs. Gigan.

I generally take them how they are relased but as I mentioned it was suggested in G-Fan that the proper order might be different.

His death in that was very good I only wished he would have kicked Destoroyah's ass more. After what happened with Junior Destoroyah needed a real beating.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:Well, there better be a lot of deaths in Final Wars, particularly with Godzilla's at the very end, in my opinion.
Though it would be very difficult to top his death in Godzilla vs Destoroyah...

Yeah, I know what you mean. Instead, he ended up being the only major monster killed by the Japanese military. Oh, the shame!Tsyroc wrote:His death in that was very good I only wished he would have kicked Destoroyah's ass more. I don't think so. The '84 Heisei Godzilla was about 30 meters taller than the Showa '54. Looking through my copy of The Official Godzilla Compendium, pg. 125 with the comparisons of the first three Godzillas (Showa, 1st Heisei, 2nd Heisei), I get the impression that '54 was killed. Of course, I could be, and probably am, wrong. Could I get a source on what happened?Kuja wrote:Your impression is correct.Tsyroc wrote:In the Heisei series they seem to go with the idea that there's only ever been one Godzilla and that some how he recovered from the Oxygen Destroyer, at least that was the impression I got between G '85 and Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah.
