Re-Enabling Lanman

Post by Exonerate »

Does anybody know how to do this? I've disabled it in the past, and am trying to re-enable it now... I'm running Windows XP, Professional version.

And if anybody is wondering, this is on my own computer, I'm not doing anything illegal.

How did you disable it last time?
There are two kinds of people in the world: the kind who think it’s perfectly reasonable to strip-search a 13-year-old girl suspected of bringing ibuprofen to school, and the kind who think those people should be kept as far away from children as possible … Sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference between drug warriors and child molesters.” - Jacob Sullum

If you are refering to your LanManager settings go to:

Go to the Control Panel--->Administrative Tool--->Local Security Policy

Select Local Policies-->Security Options--->Lan Manager Authentication level.
