I personally don't believe in torturous executions, because you are still prolonging their lives. Such animals should be destroyed in as quick a manner possible, so that they don't receive any additional pleasure from the mear continuation of living.

I dunno if the other prisoners could get to him. Paul Bernardo's prison mates have been trying (without success) to get to him for years. They once even tried to rush a guard to get Bernardo's cell keys. I'm sure jailhouse justice has been anticipated in this case, so they'll isolate this guy as well

Problem with that. An opportunistic prisoner might shiv the tacitly cooperating guard while he's at it.

It's very possible that could happen since Canada will no longer provide it's prison guards with stab proof vest.
