Anyone want to step up to the plate?
P.S. Hehe, "409" by the Beach Boys just started playing by chance on my playlist. How ironic. Giddyup, indeed

Yes. Being a minor POWER THAT IS I can tell you that unless you've got a compelling case, you're not going to get a private forum. Unless Mike decides that he just likes the idea, then he might do it on impulse.Howedar wrote:The number of usergroups has essentially peaked. TPTB have decided we've got quite enough private forums.
Yeah. After we took down the Mailbox I believe it was decided that there has to be some damn good justification if you want your own private forum.Pablo Sanchez wrote:Yes. You bring up a good point. If (in the distant future it seems) the group ever did get created, we'd have to make it clear that it's for fans of kickass street machines, no ricers allowed. The Yosemite Bear wrote:Warning I am anti-ricer, but do my own work but my dad is a pro mechanic, and I grew up around choppers and insane redneck vehicle creations. like say the The Pinto woodsplitter/logging hauler....
Sorry, breakdown in communication on my part. The definition of ricer used to only refer to wannabes who put decals and stupid spoilers and broken lawnmower mufflers on cheap imports but didn't improve performance.Chardok wrote:Ricers are legitimate gearheads too. (Some of them) I see no point in excluding them because they prefer bodykits, camberkits, and bolt-on turbo charges to a 350 bored .30 over, stroked, having super-lift cams, dualed thrush exhaust, a ford 9-inch rear end, and a 2 speed powerglide tranny.
