CBC wrote:TORONTO - Canadian porn actress Natel King may have died while shooting a film scene in which the character is killed during sex, said prosecutors.

King, 23, who came from the Toronto area, was found naked in a ravine near Philadelphia last month still wearing bondage paraphernalia.

Photographer Anthony Frederick, 49, is charged with first and third degree murder in the case. Authorities say that King disappeared Feb. 29 after completing a bondage shoot for Frederick.

A note found in Frederick's house made various references to the phrase "snuff vid", said prosecutors in Montgomery County, Pa.

DNA taken from clothing found in Frederick's possession match that of the accused and the victim, said police.

Based on my time in Canada Customs, the same people who enjoy bondage-mutilation videos and child porn. People who get off on this stuff have issues to say the least. This is the first time I've heard of a real snuff film coming out of North America, the ones I've seen before were fake & the only real snuff was from Asia & some shithole 3rd world countries. This is a really disturbing datapoint if we're getting real snuff being made in North America.

Holy shit, I thought outside of stuff like faces of death snuff films were largely urban legend. The only worry now would be whether there is a market for them or not.

They are urban legend. Without knowing more about this case, I would hazard a guess they were filming a simulated death scene and it got out of hand, then someone panicked and decided to try to dispose of the body. If this is a genuine snuff film, it may be the first genuine article of its kind. Pornography experts for the FBI and other law enforcement agencies say they have never seen a genuine snuff film. The reason for this, I suspect, is that few people are stupid enough to commit a capital crime, and record the evidence and then distribute it. Even if you try to conceal your identity, there will be all sorts of clues in the film to help investigators figure out who you are. Also, when the victim is identified, the authorities would start investigating who his/her last contacts were, etc.

Basically, no one's really dumb enough to do this. And if the guy responsible for this woman's death is one of the first people dumb enough to do it, he's living proof why no one else does. You're gonna get caught.

The people who investigate this kind of shit have got to be incredible human beings. Even if I knew it was simulated I don't think I could possibly stand to sit through any of that twisted stuff.

That is sick and disturbing on at least 6 different levels. You'd think watching someone get torn about by wild horses would be bad enough without it being a deformed kid, let alone actually masturbating to it, let alone actually filming the event!
