I dunno that pic seems to say otherwise ^_^
Nope that's the water dragon, or a a "Big friendly lizard."

Actually a pertinent question is how would two Wter Dragons react? I certainly wouldn't try to keep two iguanas together in one enclosure(I have a moderate-sized male)

Keep the sucker. Get it socialized and make it a happy lizard. Who knows, you might need it in self defense someday.

You can have one male with up to three females per enclosure.

Even if those are legal, feeding them would be a nightmare. They need things like deer and water buffalo.

Whats wrong with cats and dogs?

I'm not allowed to have a cat or dog in my apartment. A 6ft aboreal lizard, however, is perfectly okay.

Dunno about that, lots of bums in the big city right? If you live there you won't have any problems, just pretend to run a soup kitchen.

Anarchist Bunny wrote:Edit, on another note, about how much do those water monitors run money wise and what do you need to keep them(for example I'd love to own an ostrich but you need a heated barn to keep them in, even here in south Texas)
The prices on them varies somewhere between $85-200, and the higher the price does not mean the higher the quality (usually). Mine was $89, and he is eating well, friendly, and strong (for a little guy). I went to another store, and those jerks had one that was almost bones with flies around it. It was not dead, as its eyes had not collapsed into its skull. They were selling him for $129. I was at that same store last year, and they had another monitor that was dead. Its eyes had completely rotted away, and I thought to myself, do these asshats even check their animals when they open their store and after they close it? Idiots. The store where I get my lizards (Zoo Keeper) asks me to bring my lizards back from time to time to make sure that the lizards are doing well. If not, they have some medicine (for worms and such) which will help make the lizard better.

Go for it dude. I have a Savannah monitor that hasnt tamed down :)

He is STILL awesome though, and he is my evil capricious little baby(he ia couple years old and just under two feet)

Even if you cant really tame them down(mine was aggressive out of the egg) they are still great for no other reason that watching them eat. Hell, I laughed like Jabba when I found a baby bird on my patio yesterday.
