With our increased safety protocols it will be nearly impossible to manage that goal. And getting spies into my worlds is next to impossible. Especially when we have our counterespionage force known as The Harpers combing every backwater and city street.
Not only that, but we know what Dopplegangers are, and utilize them ourselves.

Not true, assume you start with 20 twenty goould. Each of those gould recruit two people per day (not unreasonable in the short term), you can convert large towns undetected as long as you don't convert anyone who has to undergo manditory medical scans.LOL!
Good luck with that. I'd be careful- turning one person in a hundred in to one of your agents is frankly, an unreachable goal.

I'm trying that with the tech powers. I'll get to you later.Alyrium Denryle wrote:With our increased safety protocols it will be nearly impossible to manage that goal. NOTE: This will be espically easy on the ex-covenant worlds where there is so much chaos it will be harder to spot. Espically when the rebel leaders know goa'ould battle secrets and tech.

I'd watch it. The Ousters know about the Goa'uld, and a lot of the power behind the rebellion is from the Hajr. There will be people on the Covenant worlds who have been forewarned of your recent invasions, and will know how to deal with parasites.Espically when the rebel leaders know goa'ould battle secrets and tech.
I think I should warn you, Lazerus- such an operation as you are proposing will be detected, and fairly rapidly (depending on how fast you work. At 2 people per Goa'uld a day, it won't be long.) Once that happens, the Galaxy at large will come down on you like a ton of bricks, and you'll see how useful your fleet is against staggering odds. I'd really recommend that you avoid persueing the plan you've just outlined.

Well, I'm just going to assume that you take one look at my nation and decide not to bother. Nobody who isn't a Dhampir or Vampire would be able to access anything useful, vampires would laugh off any attempt to infect them, and Dhampir are almost invariably government officials and in constant contact with their psychically-active superiors. Successful espionage in my nation is damn hard; most of what goes on in the Realm is filed under "???"lazerus wrote:Not true, assume you start with 20 twenty goould. All true, assume i'm limiting it to tech-based human powers that I have access too.

Only to nitpick, laz: it is naquadah, and since your language choose to adopt that nifty German word, it should be Doppelganger (since you can't do the ä )

Also the operation is impossible in Dahak's worlds. It is diffucult in mine because of the culture and enviroments inhert in my culture. In Asgard, K.S.E, Nashtar and others, I'd bet there are plans laid down to detect this kinda crap.
It's not very feasible, remember the check ups? Sooner or later someone going to be scanned and then cat's outta of the bag. I'd be surprised if this op went undiscovered longer than a month.
In a lower tech base, this would be unstoppable. If we were as idiotic as the Federation, we'd be screwed. However this is not the case.

Doctors apointments can be rescheduled, ignored, or you can infect the doctor.
I'd be a bit more generous in my favor and say 1 to 2 months, but yes. If you were as dumb as the feddies, the would be an attack.
As you arn't that stupid, it's simply part of a larger scheme.

It occured to me that if we made occuping Ix'agal such a major pain in the ass and waste of resources that you left, it would be ours.

Ah... Lazerus? maybe you should read the last couple pages of the STGOD. I've been working on this place ever since the occupation began. There are a couple of dozen Ouster agents, in important positions in the Resistance. The Ousters control much of the resistance (or at least the best-organized parts of it.) We'd know about your infilitrators.
No you wouldn't, simply because the resistance does not know of our existance.Thirdfain wrote:Ah... Lazerus? maybe you should read the last couple pages of the STGOD. Well guess what... we are cracking down big time on terrorists... so your operatives in the resistance will soon be destroyed.lazerus wrote:It occured to me that if we made occuping Ix'agal such a major pain in the ass and waste of resources that you left, it would be ours.

We are not raiding arcane settlements, we are not killing anyone except 3 or 4 minor doctors. We are not terrorists.

Just read your post, that's fine.Thirdfain wrote:If you keep launching those attacks, someone will notice. Resistance organisers will notice when attacks they didn't necessarily order are taking place. No you wouldn't, simply because the resistance does not know of our existance.
I though you mean the resistance would scream "GOA'OULD" and give us away on the spot.

Straha, you would have a better chance of recognizing the Goa'uld agents than the Ousters. Certainly, you'd be able to tell that there are agents from an off-planet power at work, but pinpointing them as Ousters would be neigh impossible without successfully capturing one live and interrogating him.her

Ok Strahta, your being stupid. Unless you have crack SWAT teams guarding every office you can't take down a black ops squad. And if you have SWAT teams guarding the office, the goa'ould WON'T ATTACK IT.

How so, Laz? I already established that I had a sizable spec-ops team on the planet keeping tabs on things, you can't get away with messing with serious infrastructure without a group of people noticing, and that was a spec ops team catching your team with your pants down.

the hell it was, taking down a few small, local doctors is not attacking major infrastructure. Goa'ould agents would always throughtly scout before entireing, and you can't guard every minor doctor in the whole city.Straha wrote:How so, Laz? Who says I have to? Wait at a couple doctors, and wait for you to show up at one of them. Spec ops teams wouldn't be worth it if you could spot them with scouts. Then when you go in, they wait and catch you with your pants down, say bye bye to this little operation of yours.lazerus wrote:the hell it was, taking down a few small, local doctors is not attacking major infrastructure.
