Tough choice, the Falcon just wins out over the Defender.

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

I'll lay down my cash for a YT-1300 like the Falcon. Must have the space. TIE Defender comes in a VERY close second.

The Flacon. It's endlessly modifiable, has lots of space, and it's the fastest ship in the galaxy.

It seems the Falcon is the winner so far. Looks like you guys want a ship that kicks but and can still pay for itself.

My money is on the Falcon. This type of freighter is almost legendary in its ability to handle moderate to heavy modification. I would install on my custom YT-1300 stock freighter a set of Quad laser cannons as seen in the real falcon. The bottom turret set would be concealed from scanner detection in addition i will add an Ion cannon on bottom and top. in ddition to the hidden turret I will have smaller defensive gunns hidden around the outside of the ship to defend myself when i am taking off or landing in a hostile port. Several more hidden weapons (ex X-wing or Quad style guns) I will build onto the front fork section to give me a strong offensive position to be used to ward off an pesky pirates who would try to steal my cargo. And speaking of cargo I could use my freighter to ship/smuggle stuff between planets or even use it to ship stuff around on a planet from city to city. The only thing I would need then would be to befriend a wookie and I am in buisness.

Damn I forgot to vote...

I'm voting for the Falcon, but I would really accept any other trader-type from the Star Wars universe... probably other YT.

well for me its a Toss-up between the Falcon and the Delta Flyer. They both are well armed, tough, fast, and roomy.

True, but at least the Delta Fkyer didn't win the "most often boarded, sabotaged, and had a homing beacon put on it" like the Falcon did.

It may have been boarded and such but I would love to see any of the listed Fed ships take the beating from a star destroyer as the falcon did and still run.

Since I would normally choose sports car over caravan in real life, I'll definitely pick TIE Defender instead of Falcon.

Yeah, but I look at the falcon as more of a Chevy Trailblazer with a hoss engine and built-in weapon systems, so I'll go with the Falcon.

Has to be the Falcon with the TIE defender coming in second.
Its a shame Slave 1 wasn't up their as I would have that over the falcon anyday. Its got guns, hyperdrive and it still has enough room for me to scratch my arse.

FYI, the Flyer can take a beating. It crash landed on a planet and burrowed through more then a KM of rock before comming to a stop with its passengers still alive. This is after it was bucked through a bad ion storm.

One of my friends reffered to the Delta Flyer as a hotted up shuttle :) Thought it was quite apt. Sounds strong though.

I see what this is leading to but a light corvette falcon would really cut into your cargo space

A hot rod shuttle built in the middle of nowhere. and it suffers from the whole unlimited shuttles problem inherent in Voyager.

The Falcon, with the NJO-era modifications. Twin light turbolasers for that added kick, those stupid reliability problems fixed, etc. I might add back that lightning gun from Dark Empire in addition to the missiles if possible.

Personally, I would've gone for "other" here, and picked the Starfleet scoutship from ST:I. Small but powerful (it was kicking a capship's ass IIRC, the same kind of ship that later gave the E-E serious trouble) It looks fast and (okay, sue me) comfortable. Not to mention it's just a bad-ass looking ship.
