B5 season 3 and 5, Legend of Zelda, The Prisoner and Super Mario had positively sexcellent themes.

As I was reading down this thread I was ready go get outraged by this heresy myself. Indy's theme has got to be the best fitting music ever.Darth Wong wrote:I can't believe there's a favourite movie theme thread and nobody's mentioned Raiders of the Lost Ark!
You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Mentioning videogames and craptacular shitfests like ID4 ahead of Indiana Jones ...
I also like Jurasic Park's, Star Wars' and Jaws'. Not because they are John Williams stuff, but they are so incredibly fitting I just gotta love them.
There's also Back to the Future and James Bond.
Ah, so you mean John Barry's arrangement. My favorite piece of Bond music is either the credits from The World Is Not Enough or the trailer music for Goldeneye.Zaia wrote:THE James Bond theme music! None of this "title song" and crap--I mean the trumpet-blaring Ba-Daa-Buh-Daaaaa-Buh-Daa-Daaaaa that everyone knows! THAT is the most kickass theme music EVER!!

Wow. It took me a good minute to remember I didn't have testicles. -xBlackFlash
Are you sure this isn't like that time Michael Jackson stopped by your house so he could use the bathroom? - Superman

Syntax, the guy's name is Henry Mancini, and Tsyroc is right, that's the theme from "Peter Gunn." My percussion ensemble is playing that this year, along with "The Pink Panther," as you said, also by Mancini (which Knife listed as his pick).Tsyroc wrote:That's the theme to Peter Gunn.SyntaxVorlon wrote:There was a TV series back in the 60s with theme music written by Manzini(the guy who wrote the pink panther). A sort of walking bass line that has been referenced a lot, in the Blues Brothers for instance.
Woohoo! Go River Hill Percussion Ensemble Director for picking kickass literature! (Oh yeah, that'd be me, woo!)
And YT300000, yeah, that's it, with the kickin' bass riff and the screamin' trumpet solo--oh hellz yeah.

Star Wars - Duel of the Fates, Imperial March, Emperor's Theme
Jurassic Park theme
One Winged Angel - FF7
Otherworld (heavy metal theme against Final Aeon) - FF10
Goldfinger Theme (basically the root for the classic Bond them)
Star Trek - TOS and TNG themes
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Chrono Trigger main theme (I've heard an incredible orchestral version of it)
Aladdin - Arabian Knights I'm sorry, but I had to take a Disney theme, and this is the absolutely best one IMO.
