1) We sell those weapons, and last I checked, having offspring was not a crime.
Selling weapons would not allow them to get into the hands of other goa'uld. It is an awfuly big stretch
But an item that you claim is "only to stun" you are more of a moron than I thought. That parasite controling your mouth must be pretty stupid.
Honor thing or not, they still violated OUR laws.
You know that council of Seven I refer to? Only 1 member is public, and that is Karsus, but there are other members that you may find in interesting places. And if you want to talk dangerous, try angering one

"Yes, I understand. Thank you for warning us.... Yes, everything is fine. Be sure to contact us when.... yes? All right.... Thank you."
The comm channel closed. New clients had been calling with some important intelligence info. It was time to put some contingencies into action. Adar Krell turned to his comm again, and summoned Emir al-Shad to his office. Ten minutes later, the Krell military commander entered.
"Emir, the fleet is going on standby. I need you to get these ships manned and ready to go within the next twelve hours." He handed over a list. Emir glanced at the list and pocketed it.
"Also, I have been examining some data on our presence in these systems. It is highly insufficient. I have drafted a quick list of the operatives I want placed on those worlds. Bring this to the operations center. I want these operatives inserted within the next week, and the operatives on those worlds activated."
"Right away. What are the orders?"
"For now? Wait. The operatives will receive their orders in the usual manner if they are needed. Nothing is certain at the moment. The same goes for the ships I want crewed. I simply want everyone on standby."
Emir understood. Krell had his reasons for not telling him anything. The less information was released, the less anyone would know of it. It was as likely as anything else that this was just a drill, a test for him and his commanders. Orders were orders. Turning, al-Shad gave his friend and leader a quick salute, and left Krell's dimly lit office.

All eyes were upon the Empress as politeness dictated and while the minds of the Veithans were aware to an extent of the thoughts and emotions of all others in the delegation, a hush descended upon their minds as the Empress walked towards them and began to speak. Ambassador Munei smiled, nodding his head for a moment pleased by the acknowledgement. When she spoke about having heard quite a bit about his people, he hesitated uncertain if the Empress wanted him to answer that question or simply let it hang. The Veithan Empire was not perfect, no nation could be. Nonetheless, it had decided to react neutrally to the influx of chaos and conflict which had seemed to engulf the galaxy as of late. Unlike some nations, the Veithans did not seem to be in any rush to start a war.
The Empress waved her hand, the motion followed silently by the Veithans. When the floor morphed and several chair created themselves as if by the sheer will of the Empress there was a ripple of curiosity. ~That was certainly impressive, Morhpwear capable floors.~ There was a mental chuckle along the delegation, Munei’s thoughts carried to his escorts. ~Let’s take it all in stride.~ When the Empress offered them the seats, the delegation accepted the invitation and sat down upon the surprisingly comfortable seats. Eyes following Elana until she was seated once more, her words listened until finally Munei spoke. “The Grand Empire is hard to overlook in the galaxy at large. I am pleased to know that your people were looking upon this meeting favorably, I can assure that my people had been looking forward to this moment as well.” It was not a simple complement. The Veithan Empire understood that the Grand Empire had existed as a neutral party in galactic affairs, and had for quite sometime considered establishing more formal relations. The time had never been exactly right before however, and even now the process was perhaps being rushed a bit. Nonetheless, the galactic situation was…troubling. This meeting would take place sooner or later, sooner was better than later.
”The situation at large is regrettable. Instability as a whole is seen in an unfavorable light by my people.” This did not mean that the Empire was not prepared to profit from the arrival of conflict outside of its immediate sphere. Nonetheless, only a fool would welcome constant conflict between nations. Such a situation bore with it the ever increasing possibility of the Empire having to choose sides. Already, alliances were being formed, sides were being picked. At this rate, the Veithan nation would be forced to choose sides simply to guarantee its safety and interests. The situation was unacceptable, the Empire preferred to choose its partners rather than be forced to pick them. It was the final words of the Empress that bore the most meaning. It seemed to be a clear signal, and one that had to be commented upon. “Although the Grand Empire may be new to the political stage as you say, it has handled itself admirably in these troubled times. At the very least that has been the impression of my people. Like you, we are always in search of finding good friends; nations which can be counted to work together towards common goals. I believe I speak for my people, when I say that we hope that your nation and ours can find the necessary common ground to become good friends.”
The truth was that Veitha was receptive to deepening of ties with the Grand Empire. His presence here was more than ample proof of that. The Empress herself appeared to be receptive to the possibility, and that news was certain to thrill some of his superiors back home. The Grand Empire would be a worthy partner…
The 8 battlecruisers had been tracked using divinations for the last few days, they could not hide their massive bulk from the arcanian fleet any longer, and then 1st and 2nd fleets arrived, and PULLED them out of hyperspace with interdiction spells.
"Consider this a declaration of war, you are violating our space and attacking our shipping and that consists of an attack on our nation. You really should have used privateers. We also hereby declare your ambassador Persona Non-gratta"

The 13 met in an emergency session, after the Arcane Empire had declared war on the Goa'uld. From the sporadic transmissions our probes are recieving, it seems this 'Arcane Empire' is part of a bigger alliance. If we get involved militarily, we will get crushed. However, the Goa'uld are our ally. and we cannot simply ignore that. Call the fleet to alert, and send a squadron to the Goa'uld/Arcane border, just in case.
Minutes later, a squadron of the new Goddess-class pocket cruisers blasted off from Manifold, cloaked, and leapt into space.

Your hostility against the arcane empire is known to us, your raids on their shipping show your intent, and we suspect you may have dealings on Ix'agel.
We ask that you join us in our war agianst them, this may be the best chance you were ever get to engage them on even footing, for if they win this war, they will aquire enough territory and knowledge to become one of the greatest forces this galixy has ever seen.

The arcane ships opened fire.
NO they arn't, they are in hyperspace headed back. AS you don't HAVE hyperspace drives, you can't engange them there. Sorry.
I posted before you recalled them. sorry to dissapoint. But if they can attack my nation in such quickj susccession, they ahve to be waiting in my territory.
And I posted that as soon as they distroyed the freighter they hauled ass back to my territory, they were on the way there before the recall order even came into effect.

We do indeed sell ships. I would love to meet with a representative in person to discuss the potential of hiring, but I have heard several rumors about the nature of your empire, that, until coroborated by our own intelligence, force me to communicate in this manner. I mean no slight by this, and I hope that these rumors will have no effect on our dealings.
Getting down to business, we would be quite amenable to loaning out our ships. A carrier battlegroup of 8 carriers and 50 escorts would cost you 920 million standard credits. As always, we would like to stress that our ships remain under our own control for use towards your ends. We will follow your orders, but will not follow any orders that our commanders feel are suicidal, a provision which is in the interest of both parties. Please let us know if this is acceptable, and we will begin mobilization of our forces once the credit transfer has been verified.
Good bye, and thank you for choosing Krell!

<< The Hajr declines your request, and marvels at your strange interpretation of our intentions. While we find the Arcanist culture backwards and arrogant, we wish them no particular ill will, and are certainly not sullying our hands by raiding their shipping or engageing in ""dealings" on worlds they control. We wish you luck in your conflict, of course, and hope that this situation clears with a minimum of problems. >>

Please deploy ships to the kyrnor system right away, credits will be transfered as soon as ships arrive.
In orbit of Halo, the following ships assembled for possible combat:
50 Drone Frigates
24 Drone cruisers
2 motherships (now called Heavy Dreadnaughts, same armaments as in the OOB)
8 Goddess pocket cruisers
4 Obsidian command ships
10 squadrons of inter-system heavy bombers
13 squadrons of inter-system interceptors
29 carriers (converted from the former civilian carriers, each holds 6 squadrons of bombers and 6 of interceptors, has 30 disruptor cannons and 50 missile bays, but only medium shielding and light armor)

The Empress listened carefully to the ambassador and nodded.
"Yes, we, too, think it is only prudent to retain a certain level of neutrality, some might say arrogance or aloftness, but we do not like to be dragged into conflicts not our own. Though it seems as if sometimes there is no other chance."
Suddenly, without any warning, she changed topics. "It might interest you, Mr. Munei, that even as we speak, another of those unfortunate situations seem to unfold." Her face hardened a bit, and holographic screens appeared in front of the delegation, text and pictures scrolled across them. "As it seems, there is another war unraveling, though that is nothing unexpected. At least that was our initial assessment."
She let them take in the information before she went on.
"But be it as it may, let's not get war in the way of fledgling friendships." She smiled again. "As a sign of this, I think a tour of the city might be interesting to you. Understanding and friendship starts at the very root of society, so I hope we're not too strange to you," she heartily laughed.
