However, our R'hlloran friends. we have a fleet to catch.

The 8th fleet jumped into astral following the Goa'uld fleet which was just about to leave scrying range.

The 6th returned to guard duty in the former CoG and the 1st went back to patrol the home space

the 2nd stayed to oversee the cleansing.

The 8th fleet moves around them, they are faster, and can change course while in the astral plane at will.

We wish for you to turn over all symbiotes. They have a genetic memory and actually are inherently evil. They are PARASITES little more than a virus that must be cleansed.

Hundreds of armed robot squads, escorted by several R'hlloran medical technicians each, searched both planets from top to bottom, asking all symbiotes to come with them for a 'council'.The symbiotes were gathered up, paraded about as if heroes, and installed in very closely guarded ceremonial positions in both the military and goverment. Each of the symbiotes were then sealed into a metal chamber wired with sensor links to an android, allowing them to move about freely. However, what the symbiotes did not know, was that each android was wired to a remote device which would kill the symbiotes on command, to ease the feelings of the Arcane Empire. Diplomats assured the mages that the goa'uld were now simply prisoners.

The goa'ould fleet and the arcane fleet are both in-system, the goa'ould fleet on the edge, it looks to be a titanic battle in the arcane empires favor................

Then the goa'ould fleet suddenly changes course, and heads with undue speed towars [insert small colony of the arcane empire here]

Detected hyperspace anomaly matching large number of vessels in transit. Additional analysis suggests pursuit is being made in higher dimension by other forces. Investigating at full speed.

Overseer.

Confirmed. Find the organics and make a show of force against the weakest you detect.

A fleet of Overseer vessels pivoted as they rocketed through hyperspace, pursuing the Gou'ald vessels. Their quiet engines made them hard to track, but perhaps the Arcane Mages would notice the behemoths, lacking in any form of lifesign, racing ahead.

Seeing as my fleet is faster, they get ahead of you and will be waiting for you whereever you show up. If you change course, you will be facing them there, etc etc etc.

Veliam nodded well aware of the dangers that existed once a nation decided to attach itself to another. Nonetheless, there were times were those alliances were necessary and as long as both nations understood each other well enough, they could minimize the risks inherent to a system that revolved around two hearts and two minds. “I agree with your assesment Empress.” There really was little else to say. He dared not to preach to a soverign ruler, furthermore there was no need. The Empress was a ruler, and she was infinately qualified to understand make the political decisions that would best fit her nation.

The suddeness of the change in topics was met with a blink, although the Empress retained all of the attention of the delegation. Thoughts exchanged between the delegates as the Empress spoke of another situation. The holographic screens which appeared were watched, the information relayed there in pictures and text considered. It was ironic, but the information which was offered to them had been the first hot point that the delegation had considered. A soft sigh escaped the lips of Veliam before he nodded. “Sadly, we must concur. It was something that was expected, although we had hoped it would have taken a bit more time for the situation to devolve to this.”

When the Empress returned to the topic of the promise their meeting bore, dark thoughts were forgotten. Her words about a tour of the massive city met with smiles of obvious pleasure. “We would be honored to be shown around this…impressive construct.” His words were lacking, but they would have to do. He laughed softly as she spoke of her people’s society a shake of his head offered before he spoke. “Your people are not like our own, but that is refreshing. Variety is something that should be appreciated. It is our hope that as our understanding about our nations grow, so will our friendshjp.” The delegates waited then, more than willing to be shown around the plaza and eventually, what would be their new home.

Uh.......this isn't working. Jarlath decides that the survival of his race is more important then petty revenge and flees to the Delta qudrant, never to be seen until the next STGOD.

"Deactivate hyperdrive, come about." The Zambaran captain leaned back in his command chair, crossing his secondary set of arms in front of him while his primary pair rested on the seat.

The ships dropped out of hyperspace, to see...

"SHIT! Uh, I mean... Conn, sensors, the entire enemy fleet has come about, they're moving right at us, range 75,000 kilometers."

Zzrinka jumped up, speaking quickly. "Helm, hard starboard, bring us about. Engineering, conn. Flank speed, push it up!."

The four destroyers circled about and hit full thrust on their engines. "Navigation, plot us a course out of here, I don't care which direction!!"

"It'll take a minute, sir. This is a densely packed area of space. Closest safe jumpout point is at bearing 220, range 10,000 kilometers. Should take us two minutes to reach it."

"Shields up. Helm, make that run. Missile station, arm all missiles. Instruct the other ships to do the same. Guns, stand by." The destroyer diamond formation changed course to reach the designated coordinates. "If any ships appear to start gaining on us, or if any open fire, volley missiles at them."

"Aye, sir."

The destroyers continued their run for freedom, faster than most things in that fleet, if not all. There was only one way they would know, and Zzrinka hoped not to find out the hard way.

As the confusion in the Arcane capital settled down, the medium-sized fleet of Overseer units waited silently. No weapons were charged yet, and no life signs were detectable. Internal conditions, by scans, were something like a hundred degrees below zero, and without atmosphere.

Still, the warships were active, and active sensors said that the mysterious new arrivals were taking no chances. Transmissions they could pick up were being absorbed with massive speed to cross-reference, infer, induct, and otherwise deduct a means of communication.

Algorythyms churned away at impossible rates, but not yet done. Stalling for time, the Master Programmer decided to initiate contact in a less normal manner. Three Fast Destroyers seperated to the rear, one of them flipping itself on it's axis and the other two grappling it with tractor beams. It's engines lit up in a sequence.

Astinius recognized them as Prime Numbers. They were sentient.

He cast a few spells and bright flashes of light lit up to stand for the numbers.

The Overseer fleet continued playing numerical games for a few more minutes, before the engines fell silent and the three ships rejoined the main body of forces. A strong EM signal, designed to broadcast on the first transmissions frequency and volume, cut through. The voice was plainly computerized.

"Explorers we. Hyperspatial/transdimensional/nonspatial anomalies tracked. Language adaptation algorithym underway. Overseer we."

The man on Monocora whos assumed name was Steve Allen walked through the capitol. He was near the books he could feel it. The magic in those books on this magically barren world hit his mind like a becon.

They would be found in a heavily armed bunker under the military princes palace... It would be difficult to get in.

First, he watched the troops. Their patrol patterns... all of it. After a few days he figured he had them down pat They could shield against active scanners, but what essentially amounted to a high powered infrared oprical scanner that saw any heat change.. welll that was more difficult..

One of them had a girlfriend off base apparantly, and he managed to get a bit of leave time.

As he left the base, Allen was waiting for him.

As walked down the street, he took a shortcut through an alleyway. The city was crowded, but there were things that would escape notice.

First came the telepathic scan, the man could never know his mind was being plundered, all those delicious memories... the names, what it felt like to carress Jenny's supple breasts(I am going to that special hell), the password for his security clearance which would get him throughout the base...

Then came the knock out. A telepathic command to sleep.. the man fell like a narcaleptic koala.

Then the changing would have to take place. With the help of a few spells, the Harper became as the soldier, in everything but mind, even his retina and genes matched. He stripped the man, bot into his clothes "Got rid of him" and decided to have a litlte fun.

Jenny did not live that far away...

The guard was not scheduled to be back on duty for a few days.
