The Infallible recieved the message and within minutes found itself in a comfortable parking orbit over earth. Soon the armed transport arrived and docked with the Infallible, Tacer Drealaan, two Order Police Security Officers and Commodore Klikna Jaszee moved onto the Monocoran transport which quickly undocked with the Baeloaren dreadnaught and headed for Andora.

The baeloarens were quickly ushered down. After an intensive screening process they were brought to Andora. After entering the Parliment/Palace they were brought down deep into a subteranean bunker, a miniture version of The Bunker of Monaco, but dedicated to the Political Prince. After another security check the aliens were brought to a small conference room. Inside the Political Prince was sitting at a round table, with aides (none of them human) to his left and right. Standing he walked forward, bowed, and offered his hand in greeting.

"Hello, welcome to Monacora. What can we do for you?"

Finally it stopped, the current pushing the octopus to the middle of a huge chamber. The octopus began swiming towards a different source of current. Then the currents stopped, for a short while.

Then, almost faster then he could realise, the octopus was drug down in one massive pull. Ten seconds later the octopus was cut to bits, having gone through three layers of razor edged grating.

the 4th and 5th Cruiser Swarms of the 2cnd War Cluster split off from their patrol duties in the Jormangandr Sphere, and headed towards Sol where they would defend the Floater cluster on it's trip to Hudson,

Given the crimes committed against The Arcane Empire, an alliance of the Psilon's by the Monacoran Navy, and the great distance between the Psilon empire and the general local of civilization, we are mobilizing our attack forces and sending them towards civilization so that in the case of hostility the Psilons can take part in any action with our brothers in arms.

100 destroyers

+150,000 troops (with support) on dedicated transports.

Edit: just a note, I'm not attacking anyone, just sending my forces to an ally, because I am far away.

The final civilians had been brought back to the cluster, which was puttering along towards the edge of the system. The marines were leaving in their transports, some were waving to the floaters who had come by to wish them well. As the final transport was about to depart the Major who had lead the evacuation turned towards the floater leader.

"Almost forgot. The prince wants me to give this to you, he said it's the spell books they could transcribe so far, 'not much but it's a start'."

Throwing a satchel at the man the marine stopped, saluted, and boarded the transport, which promptly blasted off. When the ouster cruisers arived the transport transmitted a simple message, and left.

"Go in the peace of the void."

Descending onto x57r6, the Overseer Fast Destroyer made a relatively gentle ballistic re-entry. Very little of her hull was destroyed; the shields took most of the pain. That was within tolerances. The ship wasn't going to fly again.

Immediately Constructs poured out. First were Spider Drones, the infantry of the Overseer, with built in plasma rifles to secure a perimeter, as Replicators filed out in an orderly line and began stripping the Destroyer down for rebuilding. The Secondary Programmer itself remained deep within the hull, though once the Embassy Base was finished, it would deploy a medium through which it could meet with the Arcane.

You have a limited number of mages already, and we dont see the point anymore of arguing that point. However, we cannot allow other powers to get a hold of those spells."

Bondman Jon Nobunaga smiled. "And you as well."

The Ouster warships settled in to formation around the Cluster, and the whole mass of vessels jumed to FTL speeds.

Nobunaga sighed heavily. It looked like he just might be getting some profit out of these books after all. The Ousters had already contacted him- they would pay a hefty price, refitting his vessels and repairing the Cluster, in exchange for the spellboooks.

New intel from around the galaxy made its way back to the Nexus. Within hours, the Combine fleet had been taken off of standby. Rumors circulated that it was nothing more than a drill. The Krell operatives, just arriving on-world for their new assignments, were deactivated. Many were recalled. Some stayed.

In Krynor space, the carrier taskforce stayed under the cover of the Arcane Fleet, ready to move once they received orders from Nexus... either to return to Combine space, or to aid the Mages in ridding the system of the Rh'illorans once and for all.

The Inisha Cluster dropped out of hyperspace. Around it, it's swarm of escorting crusiers deccelerated from Kincaid, dispersing out into the system.
<< Welcome, Cousins. The Hajr bids you, bring your home close to Eketrina. Our technicians will begin repairing your damaged facilites. You will have your choice off the armory's finest for refitting your soldiers and repairing your Cluster.>>

"Roger that, Eketrina. We'll bring ourselves up close, and begin tethering procedures ASAP." Jon looked around the command chamber- His top officers were looking relieved, and a little awed- this was the largest Cluster they had seen, besides old holos of Kharam and Zarathrustra. "I have the books. We'll send them over as soon as tethering is complete."

Inisha's mass, a dozen individual asteroid Clusters, slowly moved into place against Eketrina's bulk. Swarms of tenders and tugs slowely moved the Cluster in to place, and began the organic chaos that was Unbound contstruction- Causeways, cargo passages, and oxygen tubes soon linked the two Clusters in a hundred places.

Nobunaga held himself against a wall in the Cluster's main access port. He was dressed in his best skinsuit, and was flanked by a quartet of his best soldiers, dressed in neat military uniforms. He was shocked to see the Ousters as they pulled themselves through the 'lock. Their skin was a pale white- almost the opposite of his own, which was modified to absorb radiation, and was a black to deep it was nearly blue. They moved fast, with a strange, unnatural alacrity and precision.

"Bondman Nobunaga. I am Boundman Koma su Faustus. I represent the Hajr. If I may, our crews have already begun the work you requested. The high-grade weapons and gear are already loaded. Now, please- the books?"

Nobunaga handed the satchel over.

"Ah. Excellent. Thank you, Bondman. Enjoy your stay at Eketrina."

Fifteen minutes later, Koma brought the books before the Speaker.
"Speaker, it is done."

"Excellent. Bring the texts before the Blackeyes. Make copies, and ensure they are kept well protected at all times- be prepared for teleport attacks, or other mage tricks. We will begin studying them in the Fortress."

The Combine taskforce cleared a safe pathway and made the jump to hyperspace.

Meanwhile, the small convoy containing the Krynor payment arrived just outside Dis. It turned over its precious cargo and disappeared, probably to rejoin the rest of the Krynor fleet in exile.

920 million standard credits were reinvested into the Hephaestus shipyards, where construction was already well underway on the latest Krell fleet group. No expense was being spared on labor or material, and the ships were building at a highly accelerated rate. Completion of the fleet was still several months away, but the first of 15 Lances was already nearing completion. The Lances had been given priority in construction and would be ready before anything else. The Titan had also been given priority, but it was so large that it would not be completed until the rest of the fleet was ready.

However, that Soldiers girlfriend was arrested for his murder.. Seems that Steve had had a little to much fun, and had had lots of sex with various people... When she found out, she threatened to kill him. naturally, he placed lots of evidence that she actually DID and planted his naked, dickless body in the east river.

Greeting, we send this note in regards to the spellbooks seized by recent Floaters who we dissatified with Arcane government. While they had every right to remove themselves from Arcane terrority and influence, we do not believe they had the right to seize the property of the mages living on their cluster. Case in point the spellbooks. Since the spellsbooks were not Floater property, it follows that any copies that the Floaters have kept posession of is not their rightful property to begin with and as such have no right to sell or profit from them.
We hope that a peaceful return of the all the copies can be managed swiftly. As it is in no one interest in encourage theft. We hope that you can aide us to a painless, moral end to this problem.

We send this note with full knowledge and blessing of the Arcane Empire.
