That's not surprising at all. I'm sure it goes on here in America with "escort services," as well. Even so, they're not doing it out of the goodness of their own hearts.

Well you have to remember, over in many parts of Europe prostitution is legal. hell in germany they are unionized and ahve no need for pimps because their contracts are legally enforcable.

BTW.. I have not and never will pay for sex.

Mostly due to a fear of STDs but also because I still have residual baptistness and, while I have no problems with others partaking in prostitution, I have issues with doing it myself due to a sort of honor code I suppose. I dont know, it just sort of seems dishonorable to have to pay for sex. And I am a one-man kind of guy. I will only have sex with someone I love.(I will be very lonely)

No, and on a possibly related note there is a large number of transexual streetwhores in my city.

But prostatution does go on in the alley behind my house. Went back there to mow my neighbor's back year, and in the about 5 feet of alley walk I spotted 7 used condoms lying on the ground.
