most annoying song ever?

Post by Lancer »

What's the most annoying song ever?

One of my friends thinks that it's the Barbie song.

A few others think it't the Milkshake song.

Your thoughts/input?

That song that sings about McDonalds.

I just want to pull my ears off.

I like the Barbie song. In fact, I like pretty much everything from Aqua.

From what I've read, "Barbie Girl" was actually one of Aqua's lesser songs. Guess it's a shame it was pushed as their primary single in the US.

Perhaps, but they could have at least put a few more into rotation, because I sure as hell can't recall hearing or seeing any other than "Barbie Girl" at the time.

That's why it must DIE. ;)

I personally I find the great majority of songs played on MTV to be annoying. It's hard to pick and choose the crapiest of the crap. The milkshake song is a good one. Er, I mean a bad one. You know what I mean.

I like listening to Barbie Girl (not all the time) when I'm feeling really blue, plus it has some sentimental values for me. It's plastic bubblegum pop, so just don't expect it on the same level of some politically-charged rock anthem and you wouldnt hate it as much.

They made an actual song out of it. Complete with lyrics and an annoying techno background.

Actually, I kinda like the techno remix, because it's cute and light hearted. I was just pointing out where the original came from.

It loses what little cuteness it has when a rogue DJ decides that, in protest over something or another, plays that song for eight hours straight. At which point, if one ever meets any member of Aqua on the street, they will wish to kill them by gnawing out their spleens.

I think that group is called "LEN," maybe?

And the version of that song with the two stoned guys who talk during the song is pretty damn funny, dude. They make fun of the chick.

And the guy and the chick in the band and brother and sister, and in the video, they don't exactly act like they're brother and sister...it's kinda gross...

It's a small small small world.
:wtf: Okay, that's got to be at least close to being the most obnoxious song ever.

I'd also like to nominate "Tomorrow" from Annie. If any of you have had a little sister who got hooked on this toon you'll know what I mean.

The so-called "songs" which are nothing more than some guy's answering machine recording, or some chick reading out a love letter. Pure laziness.

"God is watching us... from a distance"

Back around 1990 that was on all the radio stations all the time. It was in the stores. And of course all the good little baptist girls sang it all the time. It was everywhere for at least six months. It wasn't even cute or catchy in any way at all, like some of the other songs mentioned above. You have to admit, "It's a Small World" is catchy, if annoying. But this song was just this incredibly bland and boring piece of tripe that was repeated over and over and over.

Anything that's popular music :P

I actually found the milkshake song to be humorous because to me it sounded like Arabic music or indian music with english words strung together that made little sense in that order. I heard it for the first time when I was in a toilet at Maccas feeling ill. In general I have always found anything on MTV to be utter crap. Actually I just don't like popular music.
