actually, I am wierd I like more intellectual and mature people, and as a result of my "issues" perfer romantic rather then sexual relationships... (damn mom, why did you have to fill my head with all those stories of knights and chivilry....)

The oldest person I've slept with was 25 when I was 21. (male)
The youngest person was 19 when I was 23. (female)

Well, I find girls my age (16) twittering and immature morons, so I would tend to go up. As high as 18 (which is fairly significant in High School) and probably down to 14, much dependant on the girl.

I'm 19.

I've been off and onwith my next-next door neighbor (that's two doors down), a girl i met when i was just a lad. Since she's my steady girlfreind now, i havnt dated anyone i a year. BTW, she's 18, 19 in June.

I used to prefer girls my age or younger, simply because it seemed 'right', you know. But like i said, i've been hitched to my girlfreind for a year.

I'm 21. If I were asked this question a few months ago, I'd say I preferred older women, like 24-28. But I learned the hard way that women get self-conscious about dating someone so much younger, and would really prefer someone with a career who can offer them stability anyway. Yes, there are exceptions, but they are rare and you can't bank on them.

So that makes things a bit difficult. I'm a friendly person that most people seem to like, but I have trouble liking them back. Let's face it, most 21 year olds are shallow, they form opinions based more on emotion than thought (though you could say that's true of the populace at large, it's worse with my age group), their lives revolve around social standing based on an extremely unhealthy drinking/partying scene, and who, for all their self-perceptions of maturity and talk of liking intellectual guys, find themselves swept away by some loudmouth alpha male with six-pack abs.

So there are still plenty of girls my age who have none of these characteristics, well, that's great, but they still have to be attractive enough to really excite me, still like to go out and have fun every once in a while, have neither tiny nor grotesquely large breasts, be healthy and fit, not be a fundie or fundie sympathizer (OK to be religious, just not a nut), and yet despite all this maturity, still be looking for someone her own age and not choose among the legions of older men who would be tripping all over themselves to come after such a specimen.

So I can't really give a straight answer. What I really want, I can't get, and what I can get, I don't want.

Well, to be honest, I don't actually know I can't get what I want. I haven't dated since I came back from Chile before Christmas because I'm still on this goddam medication that reduces sex drive and testosterone production so I just don't care enough to ask someone out.

Now that I think about it, this should have been put in the venting thread. Oh well. That's enough whining for one post, and no, I would not like cheese with that.

(Well, it wasn't whining just to whine, kind of digging to see if anyone has any insights if you can't tell)

While I'm venting anyway, and because it's still on topic for the thread, you know what pisses me off? Growth hormones in milk. Yes that's right, junior high girls really DO look older these days than when you (you meaning anyone about my age or older) went to school, and it makes things a real bitch.

A while back I was doing some volunteer work that was being held at a middle school gym, and we were basically done for the evening and having pizza, and there was this hot chick that I couldn't help but keep glancing at all evening. So I walk over and talk to her. You know, the usual "Hi, what's your name? Nice to meet you. You still in school? What's your major?" And of course I find out that she was in fact "still in school", in fact, she WENT TO THAT SAME FUCKING MIDDLE SCHOOL. I'm not a person who shows disagreeable emotions, so I didn't reveal my extreme embarassment and shame, but the conversation ended pretty quick after that.

There have always been a few girls that age who have looked older, but not like it is now. And those hormones can't be good for a person, either. I bet we find out in 10 years that it causes cancer or something. Pisses the hell me off.

before i was an old married guy i was quite the 'equal opportunity dater'. At 17 i was the highschool jailbait adventure for the 27 year old assistant manager trainee at the restaraunt i worked at. And i did have a thing for 18-20 year old college girls shortly before i met my wife. :shrugs: Now, i'm the exclusive adult amusement facility for a 25 year old kindergarten teacher.

I'm 21 and I'm debating whether I should go out with my friends younger 17 year old sister. Our families have known each other for as long as I remember and she's a really nice girl. I've never really gone out with a girl younger than me. They've always been older.
