wasn't this the most advanced french fighter at the time of 1940 war, it still seems inferor to the ME 109 for sure.
Yes they were the top of the line and roughly equal to the Bf 109E, inferior in some aspects supperior in others. Their number, though, was extremely limited the Curtiss H-75 were much more numerous, they were the mainstay fighter for the french like the Bf-109 was for the germans.

Thanks as I never realized how few of these more advanced fighters the french had

Of course, I'm nothing like your Biblical God. Unlike him, I have a sense of morality. And I know something about science too.

Besides, we believe in Wong, giving him deity status in some contexts.

Sometimes, one wonders how the heck Wong tolerates some of the personal attacks he's apparently constantly getting. On his own discussion board to boot. To many idiot Trekkies out there with too much time on their hands. Maybe they should get a job, life...probably both.

But can't pictures lie as well?

If you saw the Lusitania torpedoed by a U-boat, you assume the Germans were attacking civilians, because that's what was apparent at the time.

It turns out she was full of weapons and the submarine fired on a legitimate target.

And can't pictures without the accompanying explaination be inferred outside their actual meaning?

Lies can take many forms...
Did the Germans know that the Lusitania was full of weapons? That is the question that must be asked!
Indeed they did. However even a ship full of weapons must be given warning before sinking. What most people did not know is that the Lusitania was an ARMED transport, and under the rules of war the U-Boat was under NO obligation to warn the ship. Thus, the deaths of the civilians is the fault of the British government for putting them on a legitimate target in the first place.
Slightly off-topic... perhaps this goes along with Mike's thread about putting Leah Brahms on trial for the design flaws of the GCS, as a hearing about Starfleet's policy of allowing civilians on TNG-era starships like the GCS's...

I walked into the kitchen and saw a big puddle of water on the floor. When I reached for a towel to wipe it up, my girlfriend attacked me with a long stick. Therefore, we know that my girlfriend deliberately made a mess and prevented me from cleaning it up.

sOunds like a typical night in my house!

Interesting. Bus drivers work for the government, so now they're friends of Nazis? Oh, who wrote the consitution? It wasn't some government employees, was it?

This is like that "I won't join the military bec they train people to be killing machines/mindless robots/etc." argument: stupid. Everyone knows vets make the best hippies!

You fool! I warned you to stay away from that Crack! They'll lock you up for sure now! Your children will come around on Sundays and poke you through the bars with sharp sticks![/i]

Are you the first person who caught the nickname's reference, or just the first one to let on that you did?

When in doubt, use the preview button (if you're using tags n stuff), I think the edit button was remove to prevent people like LardStar to change arguments that had already been replied to, to pretend that he didn't make them or that he worded them differently.

Well, here's the weird stuff -- sometimes it's there and sometimes it isn't. Maybe it's thread-related.
