My Personal Flightsim Fleet.

I do 6 hour flights from time to time... usually they use special procedures called SELCAL on oceanic flights, so you can just turn the sound up and when you hear your 'bing bong' alert just run in and get on the radio to the controller. not so easy on the flights across land though, cos the ATC just say your callsign.

What's the largest plane you can fly into ILG?
And Wicked Pilot, if you ever get sent east and have to land there, hop across the street to my bar. I know the Del National Guard operate out of there but I've also seen some regular AF guys coming over. Of course, Dover is only a short hike down the road....

Some shots from my old favourite which I am flying long distance tonight in(overnighter) from Paris
to the Seychelles islands on Vatsim (multiplayer Flightsim)
Citybird 767-33A/ER OO-CTA on the ground at Paris, with a Qantas 747 and CSL A340 in the area
(multiplayer aircraft)
Qantas 747-400 and my 767-33A/ER holding off the runway as a CSL 767 lands
(all multiplayer guys who can talk to the atc via the voice program AVC, and can be seen in the
multiplayer as the aircraft they are actually in)
the cockpit panel of the 767-300 series (me on takeoff from Paris)
looking over the MCP through the window at the Swiss Alps at dusk
Close up of the panel of the 767. Note a TCAS target in the VSI window also a multiplayer
aircraft controlled by a real life person. This was flying overhead Italy.

The end proportion of the flight above. Completed at between 6am and 8am today.
The Seychelles Islands come into view from the cockpit of the 767-33A/ER
In the holding pattern above Seychelles second airport whyle I wait for the Air Traffic Control to clear me
The other air traffic is to be heard on my speakers and I can talk to them on radio. there's one inbound
aircraft with a few others in the area and I was put in this holding pattern to give more space between
arrivals. All people involved in this are real live humans at their own computers.
External shot of the Citybird 767-33A/ER in a right hand turn over the Seychelles
Flaps set for final approach, gear coming down in preperation to land.
On final approach to the Seychelles Airport's runway 31
3 multiplayer aircraft parked at the terminal already as I slow down to exit the runway.
Parked up at the terminal. Welcome to tropical paradise

Terrain does need work, but then you've got an entire planet to model don't you.
The plane models are certainly beautiful.

Are you talking about just the terrain with the United 767? in that case it is a scenery of Amsterdam from an addon originally for FS2000. It's been updated but I'v had problems completley removing the previous version, and as such am stuck with the FS2000 version till I can work something out. If your referring to the Seychelles flight, then yes, that is what the normal terrain looks like from default (with a small freeware addon for the terminal area), and indeed it would be nice for the scenery to be developed better in the future versions.
not yet, but it should only be a small matter of setting one up. what do you want? that American MD83 silouetted on the sun? or just the shadow side? or with the aircraft and the sun in the same frame, not necicarily overlapping?
(generally FS2004 is better for that kind of shot too I hear)
Yes it does climb well off the runway, about 18 degrees nose up with that MD83 untill climb thrust reduction at gear up. then it's a slight pitch down to 10 degrees till your at flap retract speed, then it's up with the flaps and back to about 12 degrees to accelerate to 250knots whyle climbing, then adjusting pitch to maintain 250 knots... around the 15 degree mark till about 10,000ft (mostly around the 4000-6000 ft per min mark depending on thrust setting, weight, air temperature, etc) then it's pitchdown again to about 8 degrees to accelerate to about 300 knots, and continue onwards. as you climb toward 33,000ft or so, the air gets thinner and the aircraft starts to get more sluggish on the way up, finally doing about 1,700 ft per min and about 4 to 7 degrees pitch up depending on altitude, weight, temperature, thrust setting etc, as you approach cruise height. Cruising around Mach 0.80 (80% the speed of sound) and a service ceiling of around 37,000ft.

I was thinking of 3 shots, you should tell me what would end up better with your version
1) Climbing with a MD80 with the sun behind the plane
2) Plane flying away from the sun (too bad no halo effect IIRC)
3) shot from the side, the plane silouetted by the sun.

AMAZING!
All 3 are amazing, with the first going on my desktop now.
IS that smog or fog? dosn't really matter, set up the air amazingly.
The air/weather/cloud was just downloaded real time weather from Boston at 5:55am local time so fog is likley it... just lowish visibility I spose. luck of the draw. Im a flyer more than a screenshotter
Glad ya liked it tho
Here... have a full screen version of the MD83 taking off upsun

I don't suppose anyone here knows where one could find foreign (ie not US) approach plates online in PDF format. I know of one site, but their selection is limited.
The most basic assumption about the world is that it does not contradict itself.
