RoboCop Vs Terminator

Can this Movie be made? Can someone write a plot that would be workable. Well I've been trying for sometime as practice for my skills as a writer see if I can come up with a Robo Vs Terminator. Some Ideas are good others are still in the works. I'll post them when I remember them. Anyone got any ideas how this could work.

Besides saying that it can't.

Lets have some enthusiasim here!

It kinda hard to write that one because of the timeline. It wouldn't make sense. It's not as easy to write as say a Aliens vs Predator. I would like to read what you got sometime though

There was a comic version of this story back when there was an ongoing Terminator comic, I think with Dark Horse Comics.

Supposedly, some of the technology used in Murphy ended up leading to Skynet. I can't remember exactly why but several Termintors were sent back to Robocop's time period.

Robocop wins. He has a built in badass gun while terminator can't bring anything back but his own body. Termy has to find heavy weapons to damage Robocop while Robocop can just make multiple headshots until termy is dead. I like Termy more, but unfortunately he loses in this matchup.

Yeah, but which Terminator. The T-800 may not be much of a problem for Robo-Cop, but the T-1000 and the one from T3 would be.

Remember this is not who would win but can they make a movie that wouldn't suck, and could possibly be a classic.

Terminator has lost Cameron, and I don't know what went wrong with Robocop 3, other then everything. No good crossover could be made, not when the originals are already fucked up.

The Terminator would win if it had a rifle or shotgun. Robocop's slow speed and exposed mouth would be his undoing. If the Terminator had an M79 or 203, it's all over for Robo. One chest hit and he's down.

well disregard the negatives, and Think if they could make this movie, could it and would it be any good?

It might make a decent action movie. The thing is though that the original Robocop is not just an action movie. It is a Paul Verhoeven movie after all. While it might make for a good summer popcorn movie, if it is well written it will probably not be more than that. Then again, considering what happened to Robocop I doubt that a Robocop vs. Terminator movie would be that spectualr unless James Cameron had a large role in making it. That way at least stuff will blow up real good.

Robocop 3 was underbudgeted, you see the company that previously had robocop went bankrupt and it was switched to another company. Robo was complete on a 20 million budget i think.
