ST:TNG Is near the top of the list of course.
I also cried at the end of Futurama (I know, I know, I'm overly emotional. Bite me.)
Dark Angel's ending was great, with the Freak Nation raising their flag and deciding to make a home in Terminal City. I'm STILL pissed off over the fact that they cancelled that show .
Quantum Leap, however, is the absolute best ending for a series that I've seen. Those last few lines they print at the end get me every time.
"Beth and Al have four daughters and will shortly celebrate their 39th wedding anniversary.
Dr. Sam Beckett never returned home."
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm thoroughly depressed after reading through all of this.

Say what you will about Season 7, but the ending fit the series themes very well.
The season 5 pseudo-finale ("The Gift") was far, far better.
Might I ask why everyone hates the Futurama finale? Admittedly it wasn't amazing, but I thought it was a good, funny episode, and it ended "leaving me wanting more" yet simultaneously strangely fulfilled.
You know, it's pretty hard to think of good finales, since so many shows either end abruptly or simply continue on and on, as the execs milk the show for all its worth. God, do I hate that. Anyway, Cowboy Bebop has been said, but it deserves another mention. I liked the ending of the Slayers, it was quite poignant in my opinion. Trigun was good too (funny how they're all anime series, isn't it?). If I had actually seen Star Trek TNG or B5's (damn you Sci-Fi channel!) endings they would probably be there too.
Is it a crime to try and learn the truth? Is it a sin to search for those things which you fear? My purpose in this world is knowledge, and the dissemination of it. And it is I who is to restore the fruits of my labors to the entire world. Wake up! Don’t be afraid of knowledge! Humans who loose the capacity to think become creatures whose existence has no value. Think, you humans who are split into two worlds! Unless you want the gulf between humans to expand into oblivion, YOU MUST THINK! - Schwarzwald

The scariest folk song lyrics are "My Boy Grew up to be just like me" from cats in the cradle by Harry Chapin
B5 (Sleeping in Light): Damn near brought me to tears
Robotech (Symphony of Light): Seeing the REF fleet getting wacked and the Invid leaving Earth was excellent
Quantum Leap: Depressed me for days
And of course, we can't forget ST:TOS. Kirk getting his mind switched with some crazy bitch was absolutely classic

I almost cried when Sleeping in Light ended, even though I hated the last season of the show.
I loved the ending of M*A*S*H*.
There was a cartoon show a while back called "Mighty Max," that appears to have been totally forgotten. It had a really interesting ending that was the first and only time I liked the "reset button" approach. I liked the show, which I felt was a cartoon of unique Saturday-morning vision, but the final episode was one of their most visionary.
The DS9 finale was pretty good.
The ending for Blake's Seven was STUNNING, even though the show had stunk it up for the entire previous season.

The ending had been foreshadowed for a few episodes when Virgil was telling Max how destiny was "equal parts free-will, fate, and chance." Virgil showed Max a sort of comic-book painted on the walls of a cave. It depicted everything that had happened to them, and their futures. Norman would eventually be killed by a giant spider, Max would kill both Virgil and Skullmaster, whose fates were bound together.Gandalf wrote:I remember that show, how did it end?
Norman was killed by a spider, as prophesied, but when Max had the opportunity to destroy Skullmaster and Virgil, he chose not to do it. He managed to save Virgil by giving Skullmaster his cap. Virgil and Max then flee to Stone Henge, and Skullmaster unleashes his forces on the surface. Virgil goes to Stone Henge to do something to try and stop Skullmaster, but he thinks everything's already lost since Max refused to kill him. Skullmaster shows up to stop Virgil's last ditch effort and kills Virgil, but Max attacks Skullmaster just as the spell that Virgil was about to finish goes off, surprising Skullmaster and hitting both of them with the spell. Max wakes up in his bed and gets a package from Virgil, which contains his cap--he's back at the beginning of the whole show. "And this time, I'm really gonna kick some Skullmaster butt."
