From reports, it sounds like he's burnt out and tired. They say he has no interest in returning for another term should Bush win.Exmoor Cat wrote:http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/3708279.stm

However, for some reason I think that might be a smoke screen for something else.

Powell does seem rather marginalised doesn’t he, whilst the likes of Rumsfeld & Bush are far too busy to read all the urgent reports coming out if Iraq about the torture of prisoners Powell seems to sit in his office all day playing solitaire and listening to the radio.

Have you ever tried teaching older people to use the computer? I shout at my mom whenever I have to try to teach her. I grow horrified at my dad's questions considering his job deals with the safety of millions in the sky.. thank God he's management and therefore really does nothing .Plekhanov wrote: Has the man never heard of disposable addresses?
You mean diplomacy isn't always done through radio phone ins?Exmoor Cat wrote:or emailing foreign governments......
Anyway I’m not surprised he isn’t given any important work to do, the man listens to the BBC for God sake, he’s practically a communist everybody knows true blooded Americans rely on Fox and ClearChannel for their news.
