What makes the Brits so good at making such amazings shows? and how in all that is holy do make them so good as to last hrough the ages, and still be funny?

One example that i recently saw was the reshowing of Yes Minister, and the Horrible fact was while funny, it almsot scarily similer to what still happens today in politics

What are you Favorites?

Mine are Blackadder
Red Dwarf
Black Books
Little Britain

Name and priase the best of British in your opinion!
EBC: Northeners, Huh! What are they good for?! Absolutely nothing! :P

I really like "Keeping Up Appearences" and "Are You Being Served".

And anything with Rowan Atkinson in it (barring the horrible Mr. Bean movie of course).

Edit: How could I possibly not mention Red Dwarf!?

Are You Being Served? was too campy and generally gay for me. And the Bean movie was basically the series summed up in 90 minutes, thus, hardly worth it given it was just shot in the US instead. I'll stick with my VHS collection of him, thank you.

KUA's great, I miss it now because the repeats are on in the daytime when I'm either asleep or at a practical.

Ah there was one on UKGold the other night I hadn't seen in ages, Operation Good Guys! That always made me laugh and of course; Spaced, Black Books, Monty Python, Red Dwarf, Fawlty Towers, Coupling, Jam, Brass Eye, Father Ted, I'm Alam Partridge, One Foot In The Grave and I'm probably forgeting tones.
