I dont think half the people here will recognise the 'Im sorry i havent a clue", and others, as the TV shows are quite old, and B they only ever broadcast the Radio ones on BBC 7 nowadays

Also 'Don't eat the Neighbours' and 'Roger and the Rotten Trolls' - childrens programs which were actually funnier than some of the adult programs - notable examples of Dont eat the neighbours include Rabbit falling off the roof whilst trying to catch Santa Clause and thinking he's Obi Wan Kenobi for the rest of the episode, and Roger and the Rotten Troll's is just bizarre. The evil troll tricks the rest of them by creating a fake diety which they have to worship, and is in the end and completely randomly crushed by a sign from the Great Chicken God of Washing Up or some such thing. And it was narrated by Martin Clunes.

Whoever said Benny Hill, I remember enjoying that show as a child, and then suddenly growing out of it.

I have to say that Red Dwarf is great, but the Office? I've only seen 2 or 3 episodes, but that's all I can stomach. The humor must have been impounded by customs.

And Black Books is wildly uneven. For every good episode, there is at least one completely humorless Seinfeldian episode. It makes it hard to watch.

And I am very glad no one listed Absolutely Fabulous, perhaps the worst show I have ever seen, English or American.

Now, Spaced I would like to see. It is SF comedy, right?

It's SF Fandom comedy. The main character's a Gillian Anderson-loving comic book artist.

I didn't like the Office either. Loved Spaced though.

Yes, much better than a dead bird at the vomit ridden musem.
But sadly this has sparked off a vicious cycle, I'll be watching my Spaced DVDs over and over for days now, I've just gotten to "It's not a bed-sit, it's a flat" and tear worthy scene with Tim and Mike...
