People are crazy....

Post by Kamakazie Sith »

I've just spent the morning arguing with a group of people who think it would be a good idea to nuke Iraq and I have a feeling the majority see it that way.

Probably just knee-jerk reaction to watching footage of terrorists saw off the head of an American citizen

A lot of people will think or say things like that when they don't bother thinking about the individuals involved. They just see a problem and a quick way to deal with that problem. Most likely they need to get out an about more so they'll realize that despite cultural differences most people throughout the world are the same, in the sense that they just want to go about their life in the best way possible.

Also, from what I hear a lot of the people causing problems in Iraq aren't necessarilly from Iraq. The Iraqis shouldn't take it in the shorts because occupation forces can't keep wacko troublemakers out of the country or control the ones already there.

I'm sure there are some other countries that wouldn't mind nuking the US because of Bush & Rumsfeld.

How old were they? Because it seems that there are so many younger people that have outrgaeous viewpoints on issues because they don't think about what they're supporting, and I can see this as being one of them. In fact, I've ran into a few who've said similar things.

Yes, some middle agers have wanted to nuke the arabs for years. They really don't project the value of their own lives onto other people.

Young people usually aren't serious or don't truly understand the consequences of such an action
"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

No nukes, but I do find myself wondering how broken up I'd be if an asteroid destroyed the middle east.
