The League of gentleman is probably the most fantastic comedy to arise from our screens, ever. I do wonder if that humour is/would be well recieved on a global scale? It's is superb, and as already quoted, Papa Lazarou is one fantastic creation, but who can forget Pop, ah.

Pop: "Let's go and watch a video together"

Son: "Watership Down?"

Pop: "No, Assmaster"

Although the third was kinda sucky, the rest is gold. Odd, but gold.

And it is in the way he says that line especially when going on about his favourite film.
