AdBlock!

It even supports wildcards so you can block everything from say, http://*.doubleclick.net/*. You can also block flash ads, which is quite handy.

Very handy indeed. A very big improvement over the already built-in adblocking ability.

I don't mind ads as long as they're not popups. I already have popups disabled in any case.

Non-popup ads are not annoying, and I already have the option to remove them with my caching proxy server (choose not to due to false positives, and running one to alleviate dialup slowness).

Yeah I got some of them "false positives" until I turned off Kerio's web protection thingy. It would block any graphic with "banner" on it, disabling a lot of elements from my very own PostNuke sites :P

Ouch. It crashed my browser, and I uninstalled it.

I'll stick to my right-click-on-ad>properties>copy_URL>open-etc/HOSTS>127.0.0.1>paste_URL>save sequence...

Works perfectly for me. :) Its nice being able to selectively block ads that originate on the server of a site I'm browsing. Simple as right-clicking and selecting "Adblock Image"
