Ultima Underworld 1 & 2.

OK, technically they ain't FPS, but they just rock, especially UUW2. They're also among the first games I played which had FP perspective and bitmapped 3D environment.

Blood, Duke Nukem, and that Oriental one with Lo Wang whose name I've forgotten.

Those three were really the heydey of controversial and VERY funny shooters.
Note: I'm semi-retired from the board, so if you need something, please be patient.

That one was called "Shadow Warrior". I have memories of playing that one.

Wolfenstein 3D was my first FPS with many fond memories, BUT Quake 2 (especially with the "Action" mod) holds the crown for favorite classic FPS.

Either Wolfenstein 3D or Rise of the Triads. Doom with the Barney the purple Dinosaur mod was freakin' hilarious, get the rocket launcher and watch the Barney bits fly! God that was fun.

Doom 2, the downtown level with multiple people on nightmare was one of the coolest things I have ever seen. I probably still know most of the levels off by heart. I loved that game, I took to drawing the monsters from it for a long time, back when I was 12 and learning how to draw severely gory images.

Followed by duke 3d, that took up a disproportionate section of my thoughts (This was before I had a PC, so i would have to think of the game all the time between playing it extensively at friends' houses).
