This is not a flame at all. But In fact, I was reading your hate mail part of the site just for lack of anything better to do. I realized something very fast though...
Some of the "trekkies" that have emailed you put in racist slurs, ignominious threats, etc. And I would just like to tell you in a formal capacity, theat they do not represent all of we Star Trek Fans.
To a REAL Star Trek Fan, who could beat who in a battle doesn't matter(It's always fun to debate though
). What really matters, is diversity, and unification of all people of all races, cultures, religions, sexual orientations, and social groups. Along with equality, comes the advancement of science and the exploration of said science. We love adventure stories, and science fiction, and take a sense of pride in our series, which has given us all some common ground to start some lasting friendships.Therefore, I would like to apologize to you for any of the "flames" you have recieved from supposed "Star Trek Fans". They are not really Star Trek Fans, but stupid gits who have nothing better to do than claim they're trekkies because they watched Voyager because they thought Seven of Nine was attractive in a skin tight catsuit.
To be a Star Trek fan is above what those shameful idiots can comprehend, and it's most certainly above what they are or what they claim to be.
I would like you to know that I thouroughly enjoy your site. I love the debates and discussions (And occasionally, I love disagreeing with you on some points
), and it's all in good fun. I hope that you will not let these moronic posers ruin that fun, or to marr what a true Star Trek Fan is supposed to be.So, Mr. Wong, may our "battles" continue to wage without the posers disrupting them.
