Robs are even more of a dying breed in America. No one names their kid Robert anymore. My dad also happens to be a Rob, and he's pissed off about it.

Out of four classes I had this semester, there were seven Joseph variants. My English Comp class had "The Three Joes". I suppose the name peaked in the early 80s. Probably due to Reaganomics, or something.

Personally, I think Emma is an awesome girls name, especially since my favorite cousin is an Emma. Also, I think there aren't enough Annas out there. I've heard some weird girls names recently, like some people I was introduced to once who had named their baby girl "Chastity". Isn't that like asking her to become a porn star?

Speaking of stupid names, I remember some people at dad's church who had twin girls. They named one of them "Ester" (sp) and all I could think of is that she must have been the youngest girl on the planet with that name.

Esther is an Old Testament derrivative of Ishtar a goddess from a completely different religion. My Great Grandmother was named Esther and other than when it's a family name I don't know anyone who would name their kids Esther.

2. Emma- see above.
3. Madison- shoot the idiot who names his daughter "Madison." Some names should reserved for streets only.
4. Hannah- Biblical name. Doesn't impress me either way.
5. Hailey- "Open hailey frequencies." Another name is really hate. Don't name your daughter this atrocity.
6. Sarah- I can't count the number of flight attendants I've met named Sarah.
