CSI:NY (may contain spoilers but I doubt it)

Post by Enigma »

Tonight's ep of CSI:Miami was quite good but then again I love CSI and CSI:Miami. The episode introduced New York's CSI crew and they are not bad but it does seem that with every CSI spinoff, the CSI women in them are better looking than the last. :)

What's your thought of tonight's ep? What angle do you think CSI:NY will work on? For example, CSI seems light hearted to serious while CSI:Miami is more of a tear jerker.

I see CSI is going the Law and Order route of making countless spin-offs. I was betting that Law and Order would create a "Law and Order: Small Claims Court". I predict that CSI will eventually have a "CSI: Butte".

Well they have a very large who discography to go through.....

now when they start playing "Boris the Spider" (a song about a guy smashing a spider with his shoe) and "Pictures of Lilly" (A song about wanking) then we know they have gone to far....

So CSI: Miami season 2 has ended in the US now?

I really didn't want this new spin-off, but I may give it a go. I much prefer the two originals much like I prefer Jerry and the original Law & Order.

As I've said before, the US networks get silly like this and go for quantity over quality in the end and NYC has more than enough crime shows in it anyway.

if you judge US cities by what you see on network telvision dramas they are something like this:

New York: crime war zone occupied exclusively by sociopaths, serial rapists and homocidal maniacs kept in line smart aleck cops and smokingly hot assistant DA's.

Baltimore: Place were people are murdered while walking down the street for no apparant reason. Most cops are drunks. Yaphit Kotto secretly runs the city with the iron hand of order.

Hartford: Not an actual capital of a state, but really a hick town force fed Lifetime-like sensibilites by a pretty Judge and her mother.

Chicago: A place existing outside the laws of probability, constantly plagued by falling aircraft, multiple bus accidents and spontanious combustion.

Los Angeles: New York run by sycophants but nearly void of visible hispanics despite it's proximity to mexico and multi million hispanic population.

Haha, that's a good one, Crackpot. :)

Have to love the media and their amazingly OTT interpretations of real-life.

Good God, CSI has clearly gone downhill since I've last watched it.
