Huzzah!
It was also used for a long, dull and frankly completely unrelated Hollywood film about US troops in Japan etc. during WWII which is just as retarded as called Braveheart[/ui] something like The Green Berets instead.

Don't forget promotional material for the Wing Commander movie.

Although, not quite as kickass as the US Marine who wiped out over 20 insurgents.

Hate to say it, but does anyone think this is exaggerated? You really think they killed 35 guys just with bayonets?

35 unarmed civilians? Yeah ok. 35 armed insurgents? Yeah right.

Unless you can give me a good reason why not, I don't see why I should question such a report anymore than normal. A single guy taking out 20 people stretches it, yet that happened.

It just strikes me as exaggeration- in all liklihood, at some stage in the fight, they fixed bayonets and charged, but they probably killed most of them with gunfire.

Maybe so, but the end result is.

Scotland - 1, Iraqi Terrorists - 0.

To-mah-to, toe-may-toe. They were generally being not nice and had some sort of a bone to pick with heavily armed soldier guys. They could be hippies for all I care, they're now classed as corpses and the world is better for it.

I think you missed the point. Engaging an occupying force is not terrorism, but legit military action.

Oh, I'm not getting into this, okay?

Our boys are over there and when they get attacked, they take action. Names and arguing semantics ends at the point where the bayonets come out.

I doubt the soldiers involved on either side really gave a toss at that point, this is a political game that is redundant for this topic.

It's not like a state of war even exists anyway (though you couldn't tell from the violence in some areas).

But, Admiral, that semantics game has been made quite important of late...are they soldiers? Insurgents? Terrorists? Illegal combatants? Who knows?! Dubya knows. and it determines how (apparently) they will be handled. It all boils down to which laws Shrubby feels inclined to abide by. Anyway, getting to the real meat of the issue, I agree 100%. You are free to swing your fist back and forth all day long, but your freedom ends where my nose begins. :D

I call them, "catch-a-bullet for Allah types"

though catch-a-boyonet for Allah type might be more fitting in this case.
