--My excuse is that I couldn't get time on the electron microscope during reasonable hours. At least my sample looks good so far....

P.S. -- Cold pizza makes an excellent late night snack...
P.P.S. -- I'm in EST and it is 2am here.

[EDIT]Apparently I'm too tired to know the difference between am and pm...[/EDIT]

My excuse? I'm a lazy bastard and slept until 1400 yesterday. So I'm not tired yet.

1:48 a.m. here.

My excuse? I don't have school tomorrow.

Although, even if I did, I would still probably stay up this late....

I have a PhD in Fannying Around - and I was ordering suspect packages for friends birthdays, and completing a geomorphology report and typing up some microwave reaction system results. But mainly fannying around. And at the third stroke it will be 12.24... pip...pip...pip... but I should really stop masturbating and trying to read accurate time keeping at the same time...

5:13 AM here, and I'm still up from YESTERDAY.

Why? Because I don't go to work till 3PM, and work till about 2am.

It's 2339 here now and I'm up because company is here and it's noisy and drunk. I have to be in the lab tomorrow and briefed on how my PCR bioassays worked in "Bill & Ben" and then BLAST search them.

The reason I was up until 3AM last night:
On a lark my room mate just bought an N64 and Perfect Dark for a total of 11.75$USD I am not going to let him do this tonight, because I have a final tomorrow morning at 9, wonderful isn't it?

I regularly stay up until 4am, online. Why? Because I can live on 3 hours sleep per night. Indeed. (I work weekends, college during week) and I'm what some people would percieve as 'sad' because of my internet addiction.
