I'd like to remind you, Pablo, that as much as I'd like to see these guys punished, our Nitram has no fleets left, and couldn't possibly have built significant forces in the few weeks since his defeat.

The distinction between "currently engaged in fighting" and "merely holding back and observing" should be fairly easy.

Nitram lost all his dreadnoughts, but even something as minor as a light cruiser can inflict severe damage on soft targets. With the whole fleet in action he can raid Tycho's merchant marine and minor worlds with impunity.

Except of course, as I look at his OOB, he declared no worlds at all.

Oh well. A Mothership-class vessel and some Factory ships will make lovely additions.

You know, in-character, everyone who is currently Allied with Alyrium is getting fucked over by his leaving. Not so much even trade or anything like that, but let's go back and look at how all this got started...Ix'agal.

Alyrium just pulled out. He's pulling out everything, with pretty much zero warning, from every single one of the worlds he was previously occupying. Those worlds are going to go apeshit, especially Ix'agal.

Everyone who had forces stationed in the worlds Alyrium was occupying had best be ready to start taking losses as the revolts start up all over again.

The Arcane Empire just sent a very big "fuck you" to the rest of the Galaxy, allies included, by leaving like this. I doubt anyone is going to remember them fondly.

how was the CoG divied up? I see that a handful of broder worlds are now Krytos, and the home system is clearly under control of the Alliance, but what of the rest? Specifically, how many worlds are under Arcanist control?

Funny, one doesn't consider a population carry part of the navy normally. I withdraw the post as I'm not suicidal.

Damn right. If a ship is your factory, population center, and capitol, it isn't counted as a naval vessel. It goes into your planet count.

I don't HAVE a mothership, it's been converted into a Heavy Dreadnaught. The Argus Blade, while being a Heavy Dreadnaught, still carries some C&C systems, but so do all the other Heavy Dreadnaughts, as well as the Obsidian-class command cruisers. (Read my OOB.)

Which one? You've got 4.

You also don't have your planets listed as anything except numbers. Where are they, what are their defenses?

Just did, just as I did before the attack. Here is the only line referring to the Mothership that I saw:

1 Mothership (60 disruptor cannons, 80 missile batteries, 20 point defense lasers. 10 industrial grade teleporters, numerous personal ones.
10 ML bays. Carries 10,000 ground assault robots and vehicles, 20,000 miner/colonization robots and vehicles. 1,000 R'hllorans as passengers/crew. Very heavy armor/shields)

None of the 'refit' lines referred to it being converted, nor it not being a Mothership anymore.
