Let's see, with a 100 Mil I'd
1: Make sure that everyone who has help me out when my life was a living hell would be in clover for the rest of there days.

2: Every mother fucker that ever pissed me off would be getting a heavy judgement call from me, by the time that was done I'd be broke maybe.

3: All the web sites that I like including SD net would be set up with an offshore trust fund to keep them going.

4: I'd buy a small country and overhaul it and become a super power then I'd would watch it all crumble and sit back and enjoy the show.

5:Whatever the hell I want to do I'd do.

I would buy a software company with the money. That would ensure a constant souce of income. With the rest of the money I would buy a mansion and live a cosy life.
I have to tell you something everything I wrote above is a lie.

I dont think you could buy a country for 100 million dollars. An unhabited Island could be bought however.

just to ensure the security of my newfound millions, i'd also take a stop by the Super Villain Supply Store and stock up on all kinds of goodies, weapons and hi-tech gizmos to protect my future investments of property and evil lairs.

I would buy out Bungie and Volition as well as the Halo, Myth, and Freespace titles. I would have Bungie cease work on Halo 2 and have them fix and release a free Halo 1 improved for any gamer who bought Halo. This wouldn't be released on the X-Box because it would lessen the game. They would then rebuild Halo 2 for the PC and 2 years after its released, release it for X-Box. Bungie would also have to continue working on the Myth series.

Volition's sole job would be to continue making Freespace.

I would also set up a computer gaming store in my local town.

If we're talking in the milliions i'll basically do whatever the fuck i want.

In all serriousness i'd arrange a big party, maybe rent a Hilton for the week. All the GALE and BotM members are invited, in particular Colin who deserves to be on the other side of the bar for a while. Then i'd give a lot of the money to my family. How much i give depends on how much i like that person. After that i'd find a family of gypsies and ask them if they fancy a nice house in East Belfast, just to annoy my neighbours. Buy Stormont buildings and convert it back to a home. Then i can post here and play horizions till i die.

I would throw money at them untill they released Volition. Same thing for Bungie. I would also get the rights to all the titles these companies used to produce.

Myth
Marathon
Halo
Descent
Freespace

$1 million? Buy a house in melbourne, Buy a car (normal family sedan car) and find a job... Consider completing my Private Pilot Liscence and IFR rating.

$10 million? Buy a house in melbourne, and maybe another house to get rent... hell another house too... more rent. yay for not having to work. Have a GPS unit in my car. Complete the Pilot liscence. maybe to Commercial. Looking at creating a homemade full sized flightsim cockpit fixed base like this one

$100 million? I'v got me a house... a big house... a pilot liscence... a plane... properties to make me money so the expences balance with incoming. no more work. just rent money collecting. Buy Elli's parents a house. Hoard the rest for my own purposes  which include a full sized flight simulator cockpit with motion, connectable to Vatsim... or 2. (see this for the kind of idea

$Bill Gates (tm) million?
-edit- See term "John Travolta"

Okay, so I win a million dollars. After taxes thats gonna probably leave me 600,000 dollars.

I'd use the money to purchase a nice house. Since a nice house costs around 400-700 thousand where I live, I'd still have to work to pay for my property taxes and the mortgage on my condo which is currently a rental unit.

With the bill gates millions I'd rig an election just because I could, not for any specific political reasons just cause I feel like messing with people. Heck wouldent even have to be a large election, any election will do.

Other than that save/invest it and fund some research later in abyssal trenches.

1 mil? Put in bank and live in a relatively poor country where everything's cheaper so I can live of the interest I don't have to work for the rest of my life.

10 mil? Put 2 mil in bank for interest, give 2 mil to family, spend rest on getting a slum or village in a poor country up it's feet by building proper housing and water supplies, and getting them decent work.

100 mil? Same as 10 mil but trying it on a complete country.

If I had enough money to not worry about it for the rest of my life? I'd give a few mill to my family, relatives and friends. Donate a few mill to charities and medical research.

Then I go crazy. I'll buy an old school (turn of the 20th century) and make it my home. Then I'd start building a bunch of research buildings all over Canada and hire all of the best scientists of their respective fields and give them a carte blanche budget. Hopefully, this way a bunch of diseases, illnesses, etc... can be cured or at least better understood. Find better ways of energy generation etc....

Oh, and I'd do a lot of travelling.

1 million?

Let see: 100.000 would go to a house, car and other stuff (electronics, computers, games and soft, broadband connection).

Another 100.000 would go for my family: my parents, my brother, my parents-in-law and my brother-in-law.

At least 300.000 would get into bank accouns (Swiss maybe?) and not all in the same place. Or maybe in gold. And the interest will allow me to live without worries.

The rest of 500.000 I would invest into a bussines of my own. There's much to be done in Romania and a lot if possibilities.

I could invest some of them into real estate and rent the houses. The prices for a home here are quite high: 25.000-30.000 EUR for a two-room apartment when the medium salary in Romania is about 100 EUR.

But of course these are just dreams
