last nights Law&Order

Did anyone else see it? It was kind of a sad episode, since it was the last one that the Lenny Brisco character was going to be a main character in. Yup, after over twelve years on the show, Jerry Orbach left it. Apparently though, he's going to be on a new L&O series that's in the making. This new show is supposed to focus on more factual stories aswell as focusing on the DA more. Brisco is going to be on the District Attorney's investigative squad.

It's kind of amazing that he did the show for twelve years. Hell, it's pretty kickass that Law & Order's been on for almost fifteen.

While the last original member of the show left years ago, Brisco was the last remaning character from the series original era. Sure McCoy has been around a while, infact he's been around long enough that he knew Logan, but Brisco was the last of an era in Law & Order. Though I am glad how SVU is working out with having Cragen around. He's another classic character from the series.

Its amazing how well the series is done. Though with Brisco gone, I'm not sure if I will keep watching. The show just seems too different from what it once was.

You know, if they can hold out for about 5-6 years, they'll beat out Gunsmoke as the longest running drama series in tv history. Gunsmoke ran for twenty years before being canceled.

I have to say law and order is one of the best crime dramas on tv right up there with the origional CSI.
