Alyrium, get over it, you don't have the legal right to give your worlds to the Atlanteans. You are fugitives. The fact that you haven't managed to completely run away yet does not change that.

You're damning the Atlanteans to your fate now. Your insistance and level of partnership is going to be interpreted as yet another Arcanist trick.

Oh, I see. So we're to just allow the Hajr to start grabbing worlds as fast as they can go, are we? Even if the Atlanteans have no legal right, the Hajr has none either. Especially since I'd think that those worlds are still wanted for inspection.

The prototypes do have some residual magical aura and are functional. The only lie in THAT is that the Arcanists helped; they're relics from when the Overseer was trying to learn magic and failing.

Its not that its him. If anyone else had a habit of grabbing every world in reach that was weaker than themselves I'd not be happy with them either.

You want to negociate to inspect the worlds, fine, but the Ouster's main push is for the return of the Floater clusters that ALREADY LIVED THERE, and thus have claim to the territory.

The Arcanists have absolutely no ground to argue from, period. Their request to grant the territory to the Atlanteans is DENIED.

If anyone decides what to do with the space, it's Straha at this point. Seeing as how the Vampires helped take out that Mechanoid base, he's likely to be willing to grant them the territory they've claimed. The Atlanteans are not in a good situation. They are harboring a fugitive of the Arcanists, and obviously have something to gain by having control of the Arcanist worlds. The Ouster claim, while questionable, is still founded in some reality.

I'm running Quantek as a magic analog. It's still somewhat limited at the moment as far as production, but very soon I will start to increase production of various units. SENTINEL will get some very nifty toys that I've had on the backburner for a while now.

I responded to it, basically I'm having the Monacorans I'm covering come over to pick it up while I watch them. We'll look at it then.

Actually, because Thirdfain and I formerly occupied some of these territories (admittedly my people haven't been around for thousands of years, but that doesn't mean much because their immortal), we have a quite legitimate legal right to the possessions we're going after. Now, if the contract with the Atlanteans was being respected by anyone but you and the parties to the contract, then our claims would mean jack and shit. Unfortunately, nobody but you is going to stick their necks out.

Your reading comprehension skills still need work, apparently. I will spell this out for you so you can understand it better.

Floaters used to live in Arcane space.

Floaters had to leave Arcane space.

Floaters now don't have homes, had to room in Ouster space.

Arcanists leave Arcane space, making it safe for Floaters again.

Ousters provide cover so that returning Floaters don't get slaughtered by any opprotunistic forces in the area.

Floaters come back home.

Do you get it now?

Quite possibly, our extremely extended lifespans are a relatively recent development, which is why we're overpopulated so much right now, and why I'll be making a play for a few of those planets myself.

They're real fixer-uppers, without any real infrastructure. The vampire plan is to make them raw material producers, either by mining or conversion into agricultural centers. It would be rather expensive and difficult to make them liveable for large populations, but it could be done. In other words, make me an offer--or if you're willing to risk it, try to grab something

Just what we were shooting for, actually. It's ironic, but the great search I started way back when I first wrote my OOB has come to a curious conclusion here in this situation. Basically I'm going to start bleeding my excess population to the new worlds and start the long buildup. It's not so much an expansion of my power, it will take a long time for the colonies to be hugely profitable, but I've got a few plans for making up for the loss.

Well, how many of the Arcanist worlds are you laying claim to? All of them? I'm thinking of trying to get two or three planets at the moment, but that's about it.

As I recall, the Arcanists only have six. I'll have to check on that, though. Aber-Toril, Oerth, Ravenloft, wherever Dragonlance is... *Goes to the OOB thread.*
