Bush is a mountain biker? Damn that kicks ass, if I was American I'd vote for him just for that. A 57 year old mountain biker who still does 17 mile off-road rides, that is just bad-ass!

It's impressive that a 57 year old still goes out for a thrash on his bike however the guys acting like he’s retired. Why is he on holiday at his ranch again?

I know he doesn’t read the papers but even he must have realised that there are a few things going on that as US President he should be doing something about.

Plenty of 57-year-olds mountain bike. That's because plenty of 57-year-olds have taken care of themselves and haven't destroyed their bodies through neglect. Bush apparently is one of these 57-year-olds. It's nothing to be amazed by. It's the fact that so many 57-year-olds have allowed themselves to waste away thats amazing.

It can't be that large of a percentage. Besides, even at Camp David or the ranch, his work follows him. There's no such thing as a full day off for a head of state.

Im not sure of the total umber of days hes been on vacation, but from the time he took office, until September 11, he had spent 42% of the time on vacation.
