Spike's coat

Post by His Divine Shadow »

I'm looking for Spike's coat because I really want one like it but I can't seem to find it anywhere, do any of you know wheter it's custom made for the show or if it's a real brand/model coat?

I don't think it's based on any real model... but I wouldn't mind one either. :P

I thought there was only one spike of any real recognition?
Oh well anyway it's the Spike from Buffy The Vampire Slayer, the blonde guy with the leather coat, kinda carries the show IMO.

There are lots of black leather trench coats out there. I have one. It shouldn't be too hard for you to find a good approximation.

This one's custom made as I've found out, actually made from a womans coat it was.
Anyway I've just sent this guy who says he know's a place where they sell an almost identical copy.

*shrug*
Not that into anime, I liked Hellsing because it had vampires, but it was far to short.

/EDIT/
Heh, this one looks almost like Spike's coat, interestingly enough it's a womens coat:

Spike's coat isn't double-breasted. And it's not surprising that it's a woman's coat; he got it off a slayer he killed in New York City.

Though it should be noted that the coat was recently destroyed by a bomb. He had to get a new one.

I want to see a picture of the Buffy Spikes' coat. I doubt it's cooler than Spike Spiegals.

William the Bloody's jacket doesn't look all that unique.

I'm having some trouble finding a good lookalike besides it being a trench coat and black though.

Still waiting for a reply to that email I sent, said coat is supposed to be a near replica.

I already have a standard size, black leather coat. But I wouldn't mind a duster like Revolver Ocelot or Charles Bronson wears.

You'd have to wear it a lot to get that worn look it sported.

Hmm, I don't wear my leather coat that much, but a duster I would wear all the time, especially in winter. They tend to look better with age, my dad's old airforce leather jacket does but I don't like brown.

Spike's coat has tails (one of the reasons you can tell it's a ladies coat). You can't fight the demons in that...

Well this one is very like it, though it's not a ladies coat, I really like this one, too bad I can't order it, no shipping outside the states... :(
