I = not a lot of TV....no idea who those last two are...

Revolver: A pistol having a revolving cylinder with several cartridge chambers that may be fired in succession.

Semi-automatic: Ejecting a shell and loading the next round of ammunition automatically, but requiring a squeeze of the trigger for each shot.

All of my examples were from movies.

Last two were from a little film called the Matrix. Didn't get a lot of press, not a lot of advertising, hardly showed in but a few select theaters, shut down almost immediately, so I can understand if you've never even heard of it.

I saw the Matrix, fyi...and just because I don't recognize character names right off the bat doesn't mean I won't know what you're talking about...you may just have to explain it a bit. And I never said I never heard of them, I just said I dunno who they were. And no, I don't watch all that many movies, either.

Yes, but you said TV, not TV + Movies. You were able to pick up on the other two easily enough (though I'll admit John Wayne is easy), so I figured you might be some sort of old movie afficianado who didn't bother much with movies any younger than, say, ten years or so. Hence, the ribbing.
